DAY 1, Fri Your group of pilgrims will board your flight from USA to Sydney today, crossing the Pacific Ocean and the International Date Line. You will enjoy plenty of food and soft drinks on board your flight. Sit back and relax. You are on your way to World Youth Day

DAY 2, Sat crossing International dateline.

DAY 3, Sun After a long haul, you will arrive in Sydney and here you will be greeted by your Tour Escort who will remain with you throughout your tour. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy an excellent orientation sightseeing tour sure to dazzle you with the beauty of the harbor city. Enroute to your accommodations enjoy a city sights tour stopping briefly at the world famous Bondi Beach before visiting Watson’s Bay for a spectacular view over the Pacific Ocean. Continue past Sacred Heart Convent Rose Bay through Double Bay, Rushcutters Bay and cosmopolitan Kings Cross: SYDNEY

DAY 4, Mon Stop at Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for splendid views over this magnificent harbor and the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. See the Sydney Opera House, described as the Eighth Wonder of the World. See St. Mary’s Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Sydney, plus the Parliament House, Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Visit the historical Rocks area, where the First Fleet landed in 1788 to establish Australia's first European settlement. Observe examples of early architecture and the beautiful sandstone buildings, made out of the same rocks, which gave this area its name. Check into your accommodation. Enjoy evening dinner (D): SYDNEY

DAY 5, Tues Wake up to a full buffet breakfast. Take some time to acquaint yourself with the city and your neighborhood – your home for the next week. Your tour escort will be with you to show you the way. Later today you make your way out to the Olympic Village in the Telestra Stadium (pending final confirmation) for the Mass of Welcome, celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Pell of the Archdiocese of Sydney. After the Mass, you will board the public transportation back to your hotel. Rest up for tomorrow – you will have an inspiring day catechesis with your brothers and sisters from around the world (B): SYDNEY

DAY 6, Wed With the assistance of your tour escort, you will make your way to your catechesis location for each day, with the remainder of your meals taken on site as part of the WYD Registration package. Your escort will assist you in negotiating the public transportation system to make your way back to your accommodations each evening. On Friday you will also have the opportunity to participate in the Way of the Cross (pending final schedule) (B): SYDNEY

DAY 7, Thurs With the assistance of your tour escort, you will make your way to your catechesis location for each day, with the remainder of your meals taken on site as part of the WYD Registration package. Your escort will assist you in negotiating the public transportation system to make your way back to your accommodations each evening. On Friday you will also have the opportunity to participate in the Way of the Cross (pending final schedule) (B): SYDNEY

DAY 8, Fri With the assistance of your tour escort, you will make your way to your catechesis location for each day, with the remainder of your meals taken on site as part of the WYD Registration package. Your escort will assist you in negotiating the public transportation system to make your way back to your accommodations each evening. On Friday you will also have the opportunity to participate in the Way of the Cross (pending final schedule) (B): SYDNEY

DAY 9, Sat Ensure you eat a full hearty breakfast this morning – in preparation for the pilgrimage walk this afternoon. With the assistance of your tour escort, you will board the public transportation and make your way to the Olympic Village, the proposed sites for the Evening Vigil (subject to final scheduling). Meals will be made available as part of your WYD Registration Package. Sleep out under the stars of the Southern Cross as you pray at the vigil with thousands of youth from around the globe and with His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI. Sleep tight – tomorrow morning is the awesome final Mass (B): SYDNEY

DAY 10, Sun Wake up this morning to the rustling of hundreds of thousands of youth greeting the morning sun! This morning you will experience one of the most awesome liturgies of your entire life as you celebrate the Eucharist with hundreds of thousands of your brothers and sisters from around the world, along with His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI (subject to Holy Father’s schedule). After Mass, you will make your way back to the hotel via public transportation. Farewell dinner this evening for group at your hotel(B,D): SYDNEY

DAY 11, Mon Return to USA.
