Today's tour of Salzburg includes a visit to the Hellbrunn Palace and Gardens. The tour includes the 24-hour Salzburg Card, offering free admission and free public transportation to all major Salzburg sights within the city limits. The card is valid for 24 hours. Should you choose, we suggest taking the elevator up to the "Winklerterrace," where you will enjoy panoramic views of the Baroque Old Town.

You may arrange an independent hotel pick up or depart from Mirabellplatz/St. Andra Kirche in front of the church. Arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. Drop off in city center.

Begin the evening with a drive along the famous Ringstrasse, Vienna's main boulevard, to the Viennese amusement park, the Prater. Upon arrival, enjoy a ride on the world-famous Risenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel) for scenic views of the city and park below. Afterwards, enjoy a special performance by members of the 1st Grinzinger Heurigenshow, as they sing and dance some of Vienna's most famous operettas and songs. Following the performance, enjoy an evening meal with wine. Please note that when the Giant Ferris Wheel (Risenrad) is closed during the winter season (October 20 - March 31), you will travel instead to Cobenzl Hill for a glass of sparkling wine. Tour departs at 7:15 p.m. Pick up from the hotel approximately 30-45 minutes prior to departure time. Drop off in city center.

Today's tour takes you into the cultural heart of Vienna with a drive along the famous Ringstrasse, the city's main boulevard. On this relaxing drive, you'll see many splendid buildings of the Austrian Baroque period, including the Vienna State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Natural History Museum, the Museumsquartier, The Hofburg Imperial Palace, which formerly served as the winter residence of the Habsburg royal family, Parliament, City Hall and the Burgtheater, Europe's second-oldest operational theater after the Comédie Francaise. A visit to the beautiful staterooms of the UNESCO World Heritage Schönbrunn Palace is included as well. Afterward, return to the Vienna State Opera House, passing Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugén, which houses the most precious Gustav Klimt collection in the world.

Today you'll see the "Green Lungs" of Austria, the southern Vienna Woods. Venturing into a region of dense conifers, pines and firs, pass the Roman city of Baden, famous for its thermal springs. Continue through Helenental Valley to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, today a commemorative chapel, where Crown Prince Rudolph, together with Baroness Vetsera, died tragically in 1889. Visit the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz with its medieval cloister and grave of the last Babenberger, the family that ruled before the Habsburgs. The tour continues to the Seegrotte, passing along the way the site where Franz Schubert composed "The Linden Tree." Here you will enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Europe's largest subterranean lake before returning to Vienna. Departs at 9:45 a.m. Pick up from hotel approximately 30-45 minutes prior to departure time. The tour concludes at the Vienna State Opera House.
