Zadar

Walking City Tour of Zadar

Visit of the old town starting by the National Square, Narodni Trg. Then see the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Church of St. Donat, the Romanesque Cathedral of St Anastasia, and the Benedictine Convent. Continue to visit the Church Art collection, so spectacular that it is called the "Gold and Silver of Zadar."

National Park Plitvitce

Following a panoramic drive through Zadar, depart by coach to the National Park of Plitvitce located about a 2 hour drive from the city. The park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of 16 lakes interconnected by amazing waterfalls. This fascinating natural wonder is formed on the unique Karst terrain of the area. Walk throughout the Park and enjoy a picnic lunch in the midst of this gorgeous setting. An expert guide accompanies you, further enhancing this wonderful experience. Return to Zadar late in the afternoon.

Sibenik

Transfer by coach to Sibenik, about 40 miles from Zadar. Erected in the tenth century, Sibenik was a temporary capital of the Croatian kingdom. Explore the old town, see the 15th-century St. Jacques Cathedral, and visit St. Michael's Castle, providing an unimpeded view over the city.

Polce

Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina)

Korcula

Kotor

Former Montenegro Capital Cetinje

Transfer by bus to Cetinje, a city that served as the capital of Montenegro at the end of 19th century. Visit the Royal Palace of Niegos and admire the Byzantine Monastery. On the way back, you will have the opportunity to taste the national specialty of “ham and cheese” at a charming local inn.

Budva (Riviera of Montenegro)

Montenegro’s Grand Tour

Split

Trogir

Transfer by motor coach to Trogir, situated roughly fifteen miles north of Split. A small city with heavy Venetian influence, Trogir boasts several worthwhile sites of interest. Visit the Cathedral of St Laurent, erected in the 13th century and wander the narrow streets to the central square to see the Rector's Palace and the Benedictine Monastery of St. Nicholas.

Koper

Bus transfer to Piran

Travel by bus to Piran, a lovely port that is considered the jewel of the Slovenian Riviera. Enjoy time at leisure in this delightful city, which has been extensively renovated while still retaining its old Venetian style. Piran is also famed for being the birthplace of the great Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini.
