Itinerary

DAY 1, Thursday - Depart USA
Depart the USA to Egypt. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Cairo
Arrive and transfer to your hotel in the Heliopolis area. Balance of the day at leisure
Overnight: Cairo

DAY 3, Saturday - Depart Cairo, Embark Cruise
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to board your Nile cruise ship and "hotel" for the next three nights. Sail to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Necropolis of Thebes, the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings, and the Valley of the Queens. Continue to visit Luxor Temple and the famous Avenue of Sphinxes
Optional: Sound and Light Show at the Temple of Karnak
Overnight: Cruise (Luxor)

DAY 4, Sunday - Karnak, Cruise to Edfu
Visit the Karnak Temple complex, the world's largest ancient religious site. Following your visit, rejoin the ship and sail this afternoon to Edfu

DAY 5, Monday - Edfu, Cruise to Aswan
Travel by horse-drawn carriage to visit the 2000-year-old Temple of Horus. Standing as Egypt's best preserved temple and second largest after Karnak, the Temple of Horus is a compelling construction both in terms of size and intricacy. Afterwards, rejoin the ship and sail to Kom Ombo to see the Ptolemaic Temple, built in honor of gods Horus and Sobek. Sail to Aswan

DAY 6, Tuesday - Return to Cairo
After breakfast, disembark and continue to visit the Aswan High Dam, the granite quarries with the unfinished Obelisk, and Philae's Temple of Isis. If time permits, sail by felucca to view Elephantine Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the afternoon at leisure
