    DAY 3, Monday - Full Day in Petra
    Today, enjoy a full day tour of Petra, both a Jordanian national treasure and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ancient capital of the Nabataeans, Petra once sheltered Arab traders who came through the region with precious cargoes of spices, silks, ivory, and rare pelts. See the towering treasury, a building rising 140 feet that is cut into the sheer rock face. Along the way, you will also see the impressive architecture of countless temples, water channels, arched gates, and royal tombs, the remnants of a once great culture

    DAY 4, Tuesday - Sightseeing en route to Amman
    This morning, depart Petra to Amman, traveling via the Kings' Road. En route, visit Mount Nebo, the reputed burial site of Moses, overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Continue to visit the mosaic city of Madaba, where an ancient map of the Holy Land is set into the floor of Saint George's Church. Finally, arrive in Amman

    DAY 5, Wednesday - City Tour of Amman, Flight to Cairo
    After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Amman, the capital of the Kingdom of Jordan. Often referred to as the "White City" because of the white stone used to build the houses, Amman is among the oldest continually inhabited cities on Earth. The tour will take you to the museums, the Citadel, the Roman Amphitheater, the souks, and the city's modern district. Following an afternoon at leisure, transfer to the airport for your evening flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in the Pyramids area

    DAY 6, Thursday - Full Day in Cairo
    Enjoy a full day at leisure in Cairo, a city that straddles time, spanning the dawn of civilization to the present. From the ancient Pyramids at Giza, to the historic mosques, Coptic Churches, and medieval architecture of Old Cairo to modern Midan Square, home of the Egyptian Museum and American University in Cairo, all eras are represented in this amazing city

    DAY 7, Friday- Depart Cairo, Embark Cruise

    Kan Zaman Dinner This evening enjoy a delicious dinner at Kan Zaman Restaurant. The walled village of Kan Zaman is an old Ottoman settlement, located 20 minutes from the city center. It was transformed into a replica of an old Jordanian village, affording guests the opportunity to experience a taste of traditional village life. The handicraft center offers handmade products, made on-site in various little studios where visitors can watch craftsmen practicing their trade. The Main Restaurant at the Village serves a variety of home-made Arabic food and at least 16 different salads and appetizers. Following your sumptuous meal, return to the hotel.

    Pick-up is at 7:00 PM at the hotel. Drop-off is at the hotel. Please be in the hotel lobby 15 minutes before the tour begins.

    Jerash Tour Travel north of Amman on a 45 minute drive to the best preserved example of Roman civilization in Jordan, the city of Jerash. Jerash, part of the Decapolis (the ten big Roman cities of the East) has been called the Pompeii of the East for its unique state of preservation. The city features theaters, churches, temples of Zeus and Artemis, a Nymphaeum and colonnaded streets. After having an opportunity to tour this phenomenal site, return to the hotel.

    Full Day Pyramids & Egyptian Museum Visit the Pyramids at Giza, built during the Third and Fourth Dynasties. These monumental undertakings stand as a marvelous testimony to the almost unbelievable skill and determination of their builders. Enjoy an up-close view of the Great Pyramid, built for the Pharaoh Cheops, as well as the Pyramids of Khefren and Mycerinus. Not far from the Pyramids, see the great Sphinx of Giza, the legendary chimeral statue that combines the head of king Khfren with a lion's body. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the most important repository of Egyptian antiquities in the world. Over 250,000 artifacts are on display, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tut-Ankh-Amon collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry. The collection had been enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before its discovery in the 1920s, when his tomb was finally excavated. End the day at the bazaar of Khan El Khalili, before returning to your hotel.
