Begin with a drive through the dark side of London, passing Old Bailey, the site of numerous public hangings, the Royal London Hospital where the Elephant Man lived, and the Wallace Plaque where Braveheart was tortured. Next, walk the area where, in autumn of 1888, Jack the Ripper came out of the fog and dim alleyways to claim his five victims. Inspect the murder sites, discuss the suspects involved, and decipher the evidence for yourself. Continue on a cruise on the River Thames and follow tales of murder and suspicious suicides as you creep from the Tower of London to Embankment Pier**.
