    Depart the USA for Germany. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for the journey

    DAY 2, Saturday - Arrive in Frankfurt
    Arrive in Frankfurt and transfer to your hotel in nearby Mainz on the mighty River Rhine. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy a welcome drink and orientation with your tour director followed by dinner at the hotel

    DAY 3, Sunday - Rhine River Cruise - Heidelberg
    Today enjoy a full day excursion that begins with a cruise on the Rhine. Enjoy vistas of ruined hilltop castles, terraced vineyards and villages of timber-framed houses along the course of the river and see the famed Lorelei rock. Continue to the university town of Heidelberg to see the impressive red sandstone castle above the quaint old town on the banks of the River Neckar

    DAY 4, Monday - Black Forest - Rhine Falls
    Head south today for a scenic drive through the Black Forest. Continue to view the mighty Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen in Switzerland before arriving in lakeside Lucerne in the midst of the Swiss Alps for two relaxing nights

    DAY 5, Tuesday - Full Day Lucerne

    DAY 6, Wednesday - Liechtenstein - Innsbruck City Tour

Next cross into Austria and journey to the heart of the Tyrol and the mountain encircled Innsbruck. See the ski jump from the winter Olympics, the Wilten Basilica with its stunning rococo decorations and the Hofburg with its Golden Roof and medieval arcaded shops in the old town

This baroque jewel was the birthplace of the composer Mozart and the guided walking tour will view the house where he was born, as well as the squares and gardens of this delightful city, crowned by the 11th century Hohensalzburg fortress. This is also the city of the movie "The Sound of Music" so be sure to watch out for familiar sights used during filming on location. Late this afternoon, arrive in Munich
