    Depart the USA for Hungary. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

    DAY 2, Tuesday - Arrive in Budapest
    Arrive and transfer independently to the port. Embarkation begins at 4 pm. Tonight, enjoy a gala welcome dinner on board and a scenic cruise of Budapestd

    DAY 3, Wednesday - Budapest City Tour
    Your morning tour of Budapest begins in Pest and views such sights as Parliament, Royal Palace and Heroes' Square. Cross over to Buda to view the graceful medieval architecture that lines the traditional cobbled streets. Explore the city independently this afternoon, before setting sail for Croatia at 5 pm

    DAY 4, Thursday - Afternoon in Vukovar, Croatia
    Relax on board this morning and arrive to Vukovar, Croatia just before lunch. The city suffered severe damage during the Yugoslavian Civil War, and the devastation remains evident in many of the buildings that remain unrestored. Explore the town on your own this afternoon, perhaps strolling through the Baroque town center, or visiting the Eltz Manor Castle. The ship will sail this evening at 7 pm

    DAY 5, Friday - Belgrade City Tour
    Early morning arrival in the Serbian capital of Belgrade, situated at the confluence of the Danube and Save Rivers. Enjoy a tour of Belgrade that includes a visit to the Kalemegdan fortress, a true landmark of the city. Your tour of the fortress carries you inside where you will visit its military museum and a Turkish bath. The tour continues to view the National Museum, the Parliament, Prince Milo's Castle and the Castle of Princess Ljubica. The afternoon and evening are free to explore the city on your own

    DAY 6, Saturday - Sail the Iron Gate
    After breakfast, relax on the sun deck and take in the picturesque panorama of the Danube. Enjoy daylight sailing as the ship approaches one of the true natural highlights of the cruise, the world-famous Cataract stretch or "Iron Gate," where the Danube rises through the Carpathian Mountains and the foothills of the Balkans

    DAY 7, Sunday - Daylight Sailing
    This morning the ship will make a brief technical stop in Svistov, Bulgaria to allow passengers participating in the optional tour to Veliko Tarnovo to disembark. The ship will continue sailing, and arrive to Giurgiu, Bulgaria just before lunch. Passengers on the optional shore excursion will rejoin the ship and begin cruising towards the Danube Delta at 2 pm. Tonight, savor the flavors of regional specialties at the Captain's Gala dinner

    DAY 8, Monday - Danube Delta
    Today arrive to the Danube Delta at 1 pm, and enjoy free time to explore this unique ecosystem. The Delta is home to over 1200 species of plants unique to Europe, as well as over 100 species of freshwater fish, which in habit its many lakes and marshes. The site also serves as a prime resting and feeding point for millions of migrating birds. Reboard the ship at 3 pm and enjoy one final afternoon of cruising

The city has since recovered to its prewar glory, and has become one of Eastern Europe's most enticing destinations

Travel by coach to Osijek, Croatia and enjoy a city tour that includes the Tvrda Fortress.
