DAY 2, Thursday - Arrive in Regensbug
Arrive in Munich and transfer to your ship in Regensburg for embarkation. Tonight, enjoy a gala Thanksgiving dinner on board

DAY 3, Friday - Regensburg City Tour
Enjoy a morning walking tour of Regensburg, one of Germany's best preserved medieval cities, that includes the Old Town Hall, the Dom St. Peter, the Roman Gates at Porta Pretoria, and one of the oldest stone bridges over the Danube. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore the city on your own, before returning to the ship. In the evening, delight in a regional dinner while sailing for Passau, meeting point of the Inn, Ilz and Danube Rivers

DAY 4, Saturday - Morning in Passau
This morning, arrive in Passau and enjoy a walking tour of this historic city. Afterwards, rejoin the ship and enjoy the afternoon at leisure on board, while passing the "Schloegener Schlinge," a beautiful part of the Danube with an unusual natural loop. Tonight, savor the flavors of East Austria at a Heurigen dinner on board

DAY 5, Sunday - Melk Abbey Tour
Early morning arrival in Melk. Enjoy a guided tour of the historic Benedictine Abbey, considered one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in Europe. In the afternoon, cruise the Wachau Valley for Vienna. Tonight, enjoy dinner on board, followed by a visit to the "Rathaus" Christmas Market at City Hall

DAY 6, Monday - Full Day in Vienna
Your morning tour of Vienna begins with a drive along the famed Ringstrasse, Vienna's main boulevard, to the Hofburg Palace. Walk the courtyards to the Vienna State Opera House, continuing to view the Parliament, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural History, and City Hall. Afternoon at leisure. This evening, celebrate your last night abroad at the captain's farewell dinner, followed by an evening concert in the heart of the city, featuring the works of Mozart and Strauss

Optional Excursion Discount Package ($149) includes: (1) Full day excursion to Salzburg, the famous cultural setting for the Sound of Music. This walking city tour takes you to see some of the historic sights for which Salzburg is known, including Mirabella Palace, the house where Mozart lived, Nonnberg Abbey, Salzburg Cathedral, and St. Peter's Cemetery. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and time at leisure to explore Salzburg on your own (value $99).
(2) Enjoy a ride on the world-famous Riesenrad, a giant ferris wheel. Originally constructed over a hundred years ago, the 200-foot Riesenrad has an assortment of enclosed gondolas featuring various motifs. Afterward, visit the Hofburg Imperial Palace, which served as the royal residence of the Habsburg Dynasty. Today it serves as the official residence of the President of Austria and houses numerous artifacts and works of fine art. Lastly, enjoy coffee and Sachertorte, a signature Viennese culinary specialty, at a prominent coffee house. (value $59). Total value: $158.
