This morning, enjoy a tour of Kiev that includes a visit to St. Sophia's Cathedral. Deriving its name from the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey, St. Sophia's Cathedral is one of Kiev's best known landmarks, and the first Ukrainian church estate to be recognized by UNESCO.* The afternoon is free at leisure to explore the city on your own. Tonight, enjoy a welcome reception and captain's gala dinner on board while sailing the Dneiper River.
* St. Sophia's Cathedral will be closed on April 27 due to the Orthodox Easter. Kievo Pecherskaya Lavra will be included in the city tour in its place, and the Open Air Museum Pirogovo offered as the afternoon optional tour

Morning arrival in Odessa, the largest and most prosperous port city on the Black Sea. This afternoon's panoramic tour of the city includes the Italian-Baroque Opera House and the famed Potemkin Stairs, the infamous site where hundreds of Odessans were slain during an uprising in 1905. The tour also includes a visit to the Odessa Art Museum, housing the largest collection of Russian and Ukrainian art in the country. The building itself is a notable architectural landmark of 19th century Classism. The remainder of the day is free to explore the city on your own.
