DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Venice
Arrive in Venice and transfer to your hotel on own (optional transfer available). Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail and orientation with your tour director

DAY 3, Monday - Venice City Tour
Today begins with a boat ride to the Island of Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Visit St. Mark's Square to begin a guided walking tour of romantic Venice. View the Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and visit the Doge's Palace, whose facade features a massive late-Gothic gate, known as the Porta della Carta. Take the remainder of the day to explore Venice on your own

DAY 4, Tuesday - Pisa City Tour, Transfer to Florence
Travel through the stunning panorama of Tuscany to Pisa. On arrival, view the famous Piazza del Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, the Duomo, and the Monumental Cemetery. The four monuments of this extraordinary piazza make for a unique architectural blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. Then, continue on to Florence

Begin your tour of Florence with the visit to the Accademia, where Michelangelo's David is housed. In addition to this unrivaled sculpture, the museum's collection includes the works of classical masters including Uccello, Botticelli and del Sarto. Following your visit to the Accademia, walk to the Duomo, an astounding Basilica that boasts Brunelleschi's Dome, one of the most ingeniously constructed domes ever built during the Middle Ages. Then, proceed to the Baptistery to view copies of the "Gates of Paradise," the staggering gilded bronze doors that took Ghiberti twenty-one years to complete. Continue to Signoria Square, considered the open air art museum of the city, with its Palazzo Vecchio, first seat of the government of the city under the Medici family, the Loggia dei Lanzi with its sculptures and the fountain of Neptune.
Finally reach Ponte Vecchio, the most famous medieval bridge that extends over the Arno River, with its goldsmiths laboratories and shops that date back centuries. Of considerable historical importance, it was the only Florentine bridge spared destruction during the German retreat in World War II. Pick up details to be advised locally.

Visit the Vatican and its breathtaking museum including the Sistine Chapel, best known for being the venue of Papal conclaves to elect a new pope, and for its ceiling, widely believed to be Michelangelo's crowning achievement. Tour will include Simonetti staircase, the Gallery of the Chandeliers, where you will see some of the most beautiful antiquities discovered through the centuries in the several excavations of the city of Rome the Galley of Tapestries, including the Brussels school, the famous Goblins, based on the drawings of Raffaello and the hall of the Geographical Maps. From here, visit the Sistine Chapel and behold the great frescoes by Michelangelo.
