DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Milan, Transfer to Como
Arrive in Milan and transfer to your hotel in Como. The balance of the day is at leisure. This evening, enjoy an orientation meeting with your tour escort, followed by a welcome dinner

DAY 3, Saturday - Lake Como Cruise to Bellagio
This morning cruise the scenic waters of Lake Como to the quiet village of Bellagio. With the Italian Alps in view to the north, enjoy time at leisure to saunter the slender streets and alleyways lined with craft shops, villas, boutiques and cafes. Sail back to Como and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure

DAY 4, Sunday - Milan City Tour, Travel to San Remo
This morning, depart for an exciting city tour of Milan. Upon arrival, begin your tour of the city at Sforza Castle and continue for a visit to Santa Maria delle Grazie to view Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper. Proceed to Duomo Cathedral Square and walk the Victor Emmanuel Galleria, a pedestrian mall built in the 1800s, adorned with a large arched glass ceiling. Finally, continue to San Remo for dinner and your overnight

DAY 6, Tuesday - Tour Cinque Terre, Travel to Montecatini
Depart San Remo and drive south along the Italian Riviera. Visit the spectacular Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful areas of the Liguria region. Here, five small villages are suspended between sea and earth, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea, set beside hills where the land's finest wine grapes are grown. Continue to Montecatini and enjoy dinner at your hotel

DAY 7, Wednesday - Tour of Lucca & Pisa
Begin your full day excursion by visiting the ancient medieval town of Lucca, one of the most fascinating towns in Tuscany. Upon arrival, walk the narrow streets of the original Roman grid to San Michele and its beautiful piazza, which occupies the site of the original Roman Forum. Continue to Pisa to view the famous Piazza del Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, the Duomo, and the Monumental Cemetery. The four monuments of this extraordinary piazza represent a unique architectural blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles

DAY 8, Thursday - Florence City Tour
This morning, travel to Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. On arrival, walk to the Duomo and Baptistery to view Ghiberti's "Gates of Paradise," whose south door quatrefoils feature scenes from the life of John the Baptist. Continue to visit the Accademia where you will view Michelangelo's David. From here, visit the open air art museum of Signoria Square, with its beautiful statues and landmark Ponte Vecchio, the "Old Bridge." Return to Montecatini and enjoy the evening at leisure

DAY 9, Friday - Tour Siena, Travel to Rome
Depart Montecatini and drive south to Siena. Set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside with lush vine escarpments and gray-green olive trees, Siena offers much to see, from the fine palaces that line its cobbled streets to the Duomo and celebrated Piazza del Campo, where the Palio Horserace is run each year. DAY 10, Saturday - Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel
Today begins with a visit to the Vatican Museum and Michelangelo's breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stroll through St. Peter's Square, passing Bernini's famous colonnade, to visit St. Peter's Basilica, where you will view Michelangelo's Pieta. This highly-finished marble sculpture depicts the body of Jesus in the arms of Mary after the Crucifixion, and is considered one of the most powerfully moving works of art in the Western world. Drive along the Promenade des Anglais, Castel Hill, Cimiez Hill (where the immensely popular Jazz Festival is held) before reaching the old town. Walk around the old flower market and enjoy the magic atmosphere of the narrow streets and small piazzas. Continue to Monte Carlo and enjoy the drive around the Principality of Monaco, one of Europe's leading resort destinations, ending at the Place du Casino, adjacent to Monte Carlo's world-famous Casino. Climb up the Rock of Monaco to the Principality to view the Prince's Palace.
