DAY 1, Tuesday - Depart the USA
Depart the USA for Italy. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey
DAY 2, Wednesday - Arrive in Naples, Transfer to Capri
Arrive in Naples and transfer to your hotel in Capri via hydrofoil. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy an orientation meeting with your tour escort, followed by a delicious welcome dinner

DAY 3, Thursday - Tour Capri

DAY 4, Friday - Capri to Sorrento, Tour Amalfi Coast
This morning depart Capri and take the hydrofoil back to Sorrento. Upon arrival, continue with a scenic drive along the Amalfi Coast. Pass the distinctive white Moorish homes of Positano on this legendary road overlooking the Mediterranean to reach the coastal town of Amalfi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to your hotel in Sorrento

DAY 5, Saturday - Pompeii Sightseeing En Route to Rome
Today depart Sorrento and drive north to Pompeii. Visit the ruins of this best preserved Roman city, including the Temples of Apollo and Jupiter, and the Forum. Continue north to Rome, passing by the famous Monte Cassino Abbey, founded by St. Benedict of Norcia in 529 AD. Destroyed on four separate occasions, it was last rebuilt after being the site of fierce fighting during the Second World War. Proceed to your hotel in Rome

DAY 6, Sunday - Ancient Rome Tour

DAY 7, Monday - Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel
Today begins with the visit to the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stroll through St. Peter's Square, passing Bernini's famous colonnade, to visit St. Peter's Basilica, where you will view Michelangelo's Pieta. This highly-finished marble sculpture depicts the body of Jesus in the arms of Mary after the Crucifixion, and was created for the funeral monument of French cardinal Jean de Billheres. The remainder of the day is at leisure

The four monuments of this extraordinary piazza comprise a unique architectural blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. Proceed to Lucca, one of the most fascinating towns in Tuscany. This half day walking tour takes you to explore the grand piazzas of the Eternal City. Stand in awe in front of the majestic Spanish Steps, the longest and widest decorative steps in Europe, and with your local guide stroll through the most characteristic "piazzas and vias " of Rome.
