DAY 3, Sunday - Day at Leisure in Bernkastel
With narrow cobblestone streets and half-timbered houses clustered in the town center and the towering ruins of Landshut Castle rising above, Bernkastel-Kues recalls the timeless images of German fairytales. Take a stroll to discover the Renaissance style city hall, Graacher Gate, Market Square, and the Pointed House, which dates to 1416. The town is also remarkable for its excellent viticulture and a visit to one of the local wine cellars is a worthwhile excursion

This afternoon arrive in Cochem. From enthralling art and history museums to the striking Rococo Old Town Hall to Godesburg Fortress, this city offers an incredible variety of things to see and do. This afternoon arrive in Cologne, Germany's oldest city and home to innumerable cultural and historical treasures, world-famous museums, and 13th-century Gothic cathedral. Cologne hosts over 30 museums and scores of galleries, with countless exhibitions ranging from Roman archaeological sites to contemporary art and sculpture. The city is also well-known for its signature beer, called Kolsch. And despite its size, Cologne retains a distinctly friendly and welcoming character

Embarkation will begin at 4:00 pm. Kindly note, passengers should select flights that arrive no later than 12:30 pm into Frankfurt in order to provide adequate time to transfer to the port in Bernkastel. The transfer will operate at approximately 1:30 pm. The port is approximately a two and a half hour drive from the Frankfurt airport. Passengers should select departure flights that departure no earlier than noon.The departure transfer will operate at approximately 9:00 am from the ship.
