Half Day Tropical Evening A La Balinese 4:00 PM
Day #5 |
01 Apr 2008 - 31 Mar 2009 $35
Enjoy a short and pleasant ride along the hills of Bali's southern peninsula. This pristine area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequaled by any other region of the island. Unlike the majority of lush tropical countrysides found in Indonesia, the Bukit region is particularly unique, as it is composed of an arid terrain formed by centuries-old coral sedimentation. Interestingly, the beaches of Bukit offer some of the world's best surf. At the peninsula's westernmost tip, perched on a sheer cliff, is the highly venerated Uluwatu Temple. With the scent of frangipani blossoms all around you, enjoy a Ramayana Kecak Dance, both majestic and tribal, with the temple and setting sun on the horizon.
