Continue to view the Belem Tower, the Monument of the Discoveries, Alcantara, and the Praca do Comercio, known as the House of the Pointed Stones. Enjoy a walking tour through Alfama, the city's oldest quarter, to view the sights along the Baixa, Rossio, Restauradores, Avenida de Liberdade, and Marques de Pombal Square. Travel past the Portuguese parish of Queluz for Sintra. On arrival, enjoy some free time in the Village Historical Center and visit the Royal Palace, an 18th century royal residence, built in the rococo style. Continue to visit Cabo da Roca, Guincho, Boca do Inferno, and the charming port of Cascais. Here you will see the cosmopolitan Estoril, passing in front of the gardens of the Casino. Continue to the quaint fishing village of Nazare for lunch, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding scenery from the village's highest point, Sitio. After lunch, visit the 14th century Monastery of Batalha. Continue to Fatima to visit the famed Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary and attend mass. Return to Lisbon. Visit the Basilica, the Royal Palace, Royal Pantheons, Infantes Pantheon, and Chapter Rooms. Afterwards, continue to the Valley of the Fallen to visit the Basilica, an impressive memorial commemorating the casualties of the Spanish Civil War.
