    DAY 1, Thursday - Depart the USA
    Depart the USA to Morocco. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

    DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Casablanca & Travel to Rabat
    Arrive in Casablanca and transfer to your hotel in Rabat where you have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the capital city of Morocco. This evening, enjoy a complimentary welcome Moroccan mint tea with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager

    DAY 3, Saturday - Rabat Sightseeing then Travel to Fez
    View the Royal Palace and the ancient ruins of Chellah, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the Hassan Tower. Travel through Meknès, stopping to see the most exquisite entrance gate in the city walls, the Bab Mansour. Next, visit the ancient ruins of the Roman City of Volubilis and the exterior of the nearby Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. This evening enjoy a short bus tour of the imperial city of Fez conducted by your Tour Manager

    DAY 4, Sunday - Full Day in Fez
    Spend a full day at leisure in Fez, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Home to the University of Al-Karaouine, the oldest operating university in the world, Fez is of exceptional cultural and historical significance, making a tour of the city particularly worthwhile

    DAY 5, Monday - Sightseeing en route to Erfoud
    After breakfast, depart for Erfoud via the montane cedar woods of the middle Atlas Mountains, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important handicraft center. Following a rest stop in Kasbah Asmaa, continue to Erfoud via Errachidia and the lush Ziz Valley. Before checking in to your Erfoud hotel, visit Rissani, where the ancestor of the present ruling Alaouite dynasty is buried and see the 17th-century casbah and the Ksar Abbar ruins

    DAY 6, Tuesday - Sightseeing en route to Ouarzazate
    Today, continue your journey to Tinghir via the Tinjdad Road. Stop to visit the magnificent Todgha canyons, which rise to a towering 800 feet. After visiting the Dades Canyons, continue to Ouarzazate via the road of the thousand Kasbahs, and the Dades Valley, famous for its roses and the yearly Rose Festival

    DAY 7, Wednesday - Ouarzazate City Tour
    Enjoy a city tour of Ouarzazate, a desert city at the gates of the Sahara. Its strange name means "without noise" in the Berber language. Visit Atlas Film Studios. Your tour also includes the Kasbah Taourirt, an impressive structure that was built to house hundreds of people; as well as Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have the opportunity to shop for special Moroccan souvenirs, such as pottery, jewelry and ceramics. Afternoon at leisure

    DAY 8, Thursday - Sightseeing en route to Marrakesh
    After breakfast, travel to Marrakesh via the highest road point in Morocco, the Tichka Pass, offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain. After checking in to your hotel in Marrakesh, enjoy a short bus tour of the “Red City” with your tour manager

    DAY 12, Monday - Casablanca City Tour
    After breakfast, enjoy a half day sightseeing Casablanca, which includes the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche seaside. Continue on a short drive through the residential areas of Casablanca to the city center to visit the Mohamed V Square, the Habous quarter and the Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant*

    Full Day Fez Join a day-long tour devoted to Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, which is best known for its spiritual and educational contribution to the Moroccan culture. Your tour includes visits to the medieval Fez el Bali Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Attarine Medersas, Nejjarine Fountains and Museum, and the exteriors of the Al Karaouine mosque and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. You will also have the chance to explore the famous Souks, where craftsmen still practice their trades the traditional way. Rising dramatically from the desert floor, they mark the western fringe of the Sahara Desert, dividing Morocco from Algeria.     Half Day Telouet Kasbah 4x4 Adventure After breakfast, depart via 4x4 vehicle to Telouet. Along the way, take in the scenery as you cross two river beds and climb the Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival to Telouet, visit the Kasbah, would-be residence for the Glaoui family, one of the most influential families in the region. The kasbah's contruction began in the early 20th century, but was never completed. Nevertheless, this huge fortified castle still offers interesting sights, as well as amazing views of the mountains and scenery around it. Inside, you will view large state rooms, and have the opportunity to see the colorful zellij tiles. Finally, sip on a Moroccan mint tea inside a Berber village home before meeting up with the rest of the group en route to Marrakesh.

    Full Day Essaouira In the morning, travel to Essaouira, a seaside resort city on Morocco's Atlantic Coast. Its Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an excellent example of a fortified North African town. Spanish cannons still line the battlements while parasols dot the harbor's beaches, creating a remarkably picturesque setting. You will walk along the city's ramparts just north of Moulay Hassan Square where local artists sell their paintings. Continue on to the Skala de la Ville, which is a fortification built along the cliffs that defended the city from sea attacks, but now provides visitors with an unparalleled view of the port and its bright-colored fishing boats. In the Medina, artisans and craftsmen practice their trades as they have for hundreds of years. Explore the many souks in the medina, including the spice and jewelry souks. The city is also famed for hosting the Gnaoua World Music Festival, which draws musicians from across the world who come to play with the Gnaoua mystics. After lunch, take time at leisure to explore the city on your own.

      Passengers arriving to Casablanca on Day 2 should select flights that arrive no later than 2:30 pm. Transfers to Rabat will depart at approximately 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Rabat is approximately a 1.5 hour drive from the Casablanca airport.
