DAY 2, Wednesday or Sunday - Arrive in Buenos Aires
This morning, transfer to your hotel, balance of the day to explore the area independently

DAY 3, Thursday or Monday - Buenos Aires city tour
This morning, enjoy a half day tour of the city's core attractions, including the beautiful parks and gardens of Palermo, the old quarters of San Telmo, the financial district, Government House, Congress building and Recoleta Cemetery, Evita's final resting place. Continue to visit Avenida 9 de Julio and the Plaza de Mayo. Balance of the day at leisure

DAY 4, Friday or Tuesday - Fly to El Calafate
Transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure

DAY 5, Saturday or Wednesday - Perito Moreno Glacier
Today enjoy a visit to the Glaciares National Park. This park stretches parallel to the Andes for over 120 miles. On the boundary with Chile lies the eastern side of the continental Ice Cap, a majestic glacier that descends into Lake Argentino. The Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the natural wonders of the world and a reminder of the ancient Ice Age. From a wooden catwalk, witness the incredible natural display of the thundering ice as it plunges into the lake

DAY 6, Sunday or Thursday - Cross Chilean Border
This morning, transfer to the Chilean border town of Cerro Castillo. Upon completing border formalities, continue to your hotel in Puerto Natales

DAY 7, Monday or Friday - Torres del Paine National Park & Milodon Cave
Following a three hour drive, arrive at the Torres del Paine National Park, covering an area of 160,000 hectares, which was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1978. Visit the Milodon Cave where the 12,000-year-old remains of a giant ground sloth were found in 1896. Continue to the most important attraction, the central mountain range, site of the Horns of Paine. Along the way, see beautiful lakes, impressive glaciers and waterfalls, along with a variety of regional flora and fauna. Lunch is included. After your tour, transfer to your hotel in Punta Arenas

DAY 8, Tuesday or Saturday - Punta Arenas city tour, Ship Embarkation
This morning, visit the lookout point to view the Strait of Magellan, Tierra del Fuego and the town of Punta Arenas. Continue on a tour that takes you to the main sites of the town, including the Plaza Muñoz Gamero, which is surrounded by old mansions, and the Monument to Magellan. Visit the regional Silesian museum, which has a display on the history and habitat of the Yaganes, Onas and Alacalufes, the native people of the region. Visit the monument to the shepherd and the cemetery with its impressive mausoleums and gardens. In the afternoon, transfer to the pier for embarkation. Enjoy a welcome drink and reception on board. The ship then departs, cruising through the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions in the world, Southern Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego

DAY 9, Wednesday or Sunday - Ainsworth Bay & Tucker Islet
At dawn, the ship continues through Almirantazgo Sound, finally arriving near Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay, where you will enjoy a walk to discover a beaver dam in the midst of the marvelous Magellanic forest. On the beach, you may have the opportunity to observe a colony of elephant seals. Later, Zodiac boats take you close to the shore of Tucker Islet, famed for its colonies of Magellanic Penguins and Cormorants. The islet’s penguins migrate in April, and tours during this time will visit Brookes Bay for a short walk to see a glacier

DAY 10, Thursday or Monday - Pia Glacier & Glacier Alley
After cruising through the main part of Beagle Channel to reach Pia Bay, disembark near Pia Glacier for a short hike to a lookout point with a spectacular view of the entire glacier tongue, stretching from high in the mountains all the way to the sea. After this unforgettable experience, sail again along the northwest arm of Beagle Channel through the majestic “Glacier Alley,” comprising Spain, Romanche, Germany, Italy, France and Holland Glaciers

DAY 11, Friday or Tuesday - Cape Horn & Wulaia Bay
Continue sailing through Beagle and Murray channels to reach and disembark at Cape Horn National Park (weather permitting). Cape Horn, on Hornos Island, is a sheer, 1,394-foot-high rocky promontory. This legendary place is popularly known as the “End of the Earth.” The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in June 2005. In the afternoon, go ashore in historic Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region���s largest aboriginal settlements. This area is also renowned for the mesmerizing beauty of its vegetation and geography. Walk through a Magellanic forest of Lengas, Coigües, Canelos, ferns and other native vegetation to reach a lookout point

DAY 12, Saturday or Wednesday - Disembarkation in Ushuaia, Ushuaia city tour
This morning, disembark and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half day tour of Ushuaia, one of the southernmost cities in the world. View different city sights and surrounding vistas as your guide details the history of Ushuaia from the arrival of the first Anglican missionaries to the present. See neighborhoods full of historical Fueguian-style buildings, the old prison, and various museums. The tour concludes with a visit to the End of the World Museum where you will find various exhibits detailing the area's culture and history
