DAY 2, Tuesday - Arrive in Lisbon
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy a welcome drink and orientation

DAY 3, Wednesday - Lisbon City Tour
This morning, enjoy a half day city tour of Lisbon. View the Belem Tower and visit Jeronimos Monastery with the Tomb of Vasco da Gama. Enjoy the elegant Liberdade Avenue and take the opportunity to view the Monument of Discoveries. Walk through the cobbled alleys of Alfama, the old fishermen's quarter. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure

DAY 4, Thursday - Fatima
Today's first stop on your northbound journey is medieval Obidos. Continue to Alcobaça to visit the Church of Santa Maria Monastery, founded by the first Portuguese King in 1153, maintaining close ties with the Monarchs through history. The fishing harbor of Nazaré is the perfect place for a leisurely, independent lunch. In the afternoon drive to Fatima and visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, built to commemorate the events of 1917 when three peasant children claimed to have witnessed Marian apparitions. This is Portugal's main site of pilgrimage

DAY 5, Friday - Conimbriga, Coimbra, Wine Tasting
Visit the hilltop Convent of the Order Christ, originally the Portuguese headquarters of the Knights Templar, to see its famous Manueline style window. Next, the Roman ruins of Conimbriga to tour the excavations and view the well-preserved mosaics. En route to Porto, stop at Coimbra to visit the decorated Library of its 700-year-old university. Tonight, visit a port wine cellar for a tasting and dinner

DAY 6, Saturday - Porto City Tour
Today's half day city tour with a local guide includes a drive to the mouth of the Duoro River. Visit the Church of Sao Francisco, and the Stock Exchange including its notable Arabian Hall. Discover the historic Ribeira district and the baroque churches of Portugal's second city. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure

DAY 9, Tuesday - Belmonte
This morning, drive to Belmonte to visit the Jewish Museum. Continue to Castelo de Vide, an enchanting small town with white-washed houses and view the 14th-century castle, offering a perfect opportunity for taking pictures. Afterward, continue to Evora, with the balance of the day at leisure

DAY 10, Wednesday - Ossuary Chapel
This morning, a guided tour takes you past the huge walls surrounding the old town to discover the Roman Temple, early Gothic Cathedral and Sao Francisco Church, for a visit to the famed Ossuary Chapel, with walls that are covered by thousands of human bones and skulls. Later continue to Lisbon to celebrate a farewell dinner as a fitting conclusion to your tour
