DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Buenos Aires
This morning, transfer to your hotel, balance of the day to explore the city independently

DAY 3, Saturday - Buenos Aires City Tour
Today, enjoy a half day Buenos Aires city tour that reveals the various influences of the immigrants that made this the cosmopolitan city it is today. The tour begins at the historic Plaza de Mayo Square, a magnificent public space surrounded by the Government House, Old City Hall, and the Cathedral. Traveling southward, see the colorful, picturesque port neighborhood of La Boca, with its famed Caminito street, reminiscent of the streets of Genoa. Continue toward San Telmo and see the colonial houses and cobblestone streets. Finally, see the modern districts of Puerto Madero and Recoleta

DAY 4, Sunday - Full Day in Buenos Aires
Full day at leisure in Buenos Aires to explore the city independently. Known as the Paris of South America, the city is flush with excellent cuisine, high-end designer outlets, and signature music and dance venues

DAY 5, Monday - Fly to Mendoza
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure

DAY 6, Tuesday - Tupungato Tour
Today, enjoy an excursion to Tupungato in the Uco Valley. This area, renowned for its vineyards, is an especially excellent location for viticulture due to its location at the foot of the Andes Range. Among the grapevines you can find chardonnay, merlot, malbec and semillón varieties. Surrounded by mountains, fields, streams and woods, these wineries are situated in a truly idyllic setting. There will be time at leisure to independently enjoy some of the many activities available here, including hiking, fishing, and wine tasting. In the afternoon, return to the hotel

Enjoy an excellent dinner and tango show at El Querandi. Originally a grand, colonial-era house, in the 1920s the building was refurbished with an Art Deco front and a richly paneled interior, serving for decades as a haunt for writers, artists, and students. Today, this establishment is a favorite of local residents as well as visitors and is the ideal setting for a delicious dinner and an alluring tango show.

Travel from Mendoza to the Chilean border to Puenta del Inca where the Rio Las Cuevas has bored through the mountain, creating a natural bridge. Near the border, a natural lookout point shows Aconcagua in all its splendor. Continue to the Horcones Lagoon and Parque Provincial Aconcagua. After passing through customs, proceed to Las Cuevas, a European-style city built at an altitude of nearly two miles above sea level. If weather conditions permit, it is possible to ascend to see the Christ the Redeemer of the Andes monument, symbolizing the good will between the people of Argentina and Chile.
