My trip was simply amazing and perfection. First, my travel itinerary was perfect .... I was in a small group of 15 people and I really enjoyed my tour guide, Uza. Uza is a class act. She was very knowledgeable about Thailand, she was very relatable, caring, nurturing, and she knew the tours inside and out. Furthermore, she was able to recommend the best optional tours for my desires. Second, My driver was also phenomenal and really attentive and nice. Third, I enjoyed the host home dinner, that was really an honor and blessing to be greeted and treated so warm and kind. Fourth, I loved every hotel that we stayed in and the customer service was exceptional. Fifth, The trip flowed and we were where we needed to be in a timely fashion. Absolutely a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend gate 1 to anyone!!

Otto has a passion for his country and this is reflected in how he conducts this tour. Again thank you for making our holiday experience one we will never forget for all the right reasons

He was fantastic, and a real asset to Gate 1. He is personable, his English is flawless, and he’s a great teacher. The trip was great! As usual Gate 1 provided a full, enjoyable, and well-rounded itinerary. The hotels were comfortable, as was the touring coach. The Bangkok hotel was so well-situated, walking distance to all sorts of shops, restaurants, and night life. The resort on the river was a fantastic escape for a couple of days, it felt so isolated and peaceful. Anil was terrific - competent, organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. The bus driver, Mr. Honda, was also friendly and a safe and responsible driver in a country where traffic looked a bit on the chaotic side to me overall! The airport transfers were smooth and the sightseeing was amazing - there's so much exotic beauty and history and culture to soak up. I wish I could have dialed down the temperature by about twenty degrees, but that was beyond Gate 1's control! Overall a really enjoyable trip.

My trip to Thailand was very, very nice...The tour guide (Ya) was exceptional, extremely knowledgeable about his country, he treated us as family and took care of us as we were family...Ya went out of his way to show us as much of his country as he could even to the point on stopping for us to see how the locals barbecue rats ( a local delicatessen) it is an experience I will never forget...He gave us tips on what to do for the free days and suggested where the best places to eat...He spoke very good English and was able to get his point across. He anticipated what we wanted to know and elaborated on it and did not seem to be bothered by it. He volunteered to take pictures for us without us asking. This is the 3rd time we have traveled with Gate 1 and it has been a wonderful experience. My husband who does not like to travel will go if it is with Gate 1. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Ron as our tour guide. We saw many sites and believe Ron went out of his way to share his country with us. He shared local cultural beliefs and exposed us to foods we would not have been brave enough to try on our own. We found him very helpful and most accommodating. Most of the group was very friendly and he kept everyone engaged and happy. The bus driver and his helper, Kit, were also a pleasure to travel with.

My trip to Thailand was absolutely fabulous! I can’t believe how much Gate 1 packed into 16 days. I feel as if I really got the flavor of the country. Our tour guide, Oh, and his assistants were professional and caring, paying attention to every little detail from refreshing hand wipes to ice cold water to snacks to frequent restroom stops. Our accommodations were top notch! The itinerary was well thought out and planned. While we arrived exhausted at the end of each day, it was not without complete satisfaction with all that we had seen in any particular day. At each tour, we had plenty of time to take in our surroundings. While this was my first Gate 1 tour, it will not be my last one! I will recommend this company to any and everyone!

Fabulous. A fabulous trip partially because our tour guide Tuk went way above and beyond the call of duty and took care of absolutely everything. She did a sensational job. You are lucky to have a person like that working for Gate 1 Travel, that's for sure. However we also recognize that Gate 1 Travel made sure our trip was spectacular with ensuring good staff, good transportation, fabulous hotels, amazing meals and all the little things in between that make a difference between good and exceptional. Like always having fresh water available on those hot touring days, and arranging for our luggage to arrive in our rooms without us every having to worry about it. Sensational. So from here on in our group will continue to use Gate 1 Travel for our trips. Now the hardest question is : where to next?

She met us when we arrived, provided us with all the related information; provided advice on restaurants, banks, buses; was an exceptional tour guide; and even saw us off at 2:45 am with box breakfasts. We signed up for all the optional tours and enjoyed them all. The flights on Air China were on time, the planes were clean and the service was great. Thanks for providing us with a wonderful adventure at a fair price! We look forward to our Uganda trip in June.

We had a fantastic time in Thailand. Saw a lot of temples and palaces, ate delicious Thai food everyday, and had many novel and exciting experiences. Our tour manager Pete was friendly, organized, informative, upbeat and most of all, incredibly flexible. He really made the tour enjoyable for all of us, with his unwavering sense of humor and candor. We loved the personal color he added to descriptions of local culture and traditions, and his many helpful tips on shopping, restaurants, and places to visit on our own. The tour included a great balance between scheduled events and free time. Would definitely recommend this tour to all our friends.

My Gate 1 trip to Thailand was amazing! Our guide was the absolute best and really helped us immerse into Thai culture. The transportation between cities was comfortable and efficient and we got to see even more than was on the itinerary. I would definitely sign up for another Gate 1 Classic tour and would recommend to my friends and family!

Our trip was wonderful. My husband and I were very pleased with the itinerary and especially enjoyed our time on the Mekong Navigator. Being able to visit small villages, floating villages and individuals' homes helped to make the trip a true cultural experience. All local guides spoke very good English and were quite good, especially Sokun in Cambodia. Our tour guide for the entire trip, Dang, was truly outstanding. He has excellent people skills and is very personable. Dang really did everything possible to ensure that everyone on the tour not only stayed safe and enjoyed themselves, but also that all of us had a really memorable trip. The combination of an excellent itinerary and superior guides is the reason that we will travel again in the future with Gate 1.

We had a great time. Awesome experience! The tour pace was adequate and allowed us to better deal with the extreme heat and humidity. Both tour managers, UDOM in Bangkok and Tran in Cambodia. Vietnam were very good. The Mekong Navigator was second to none. All in all, great!

Outstanding River cruise. Another Gate 1 couple had taken the small group Gate 1 land tour (but did lots of flying to locations). They loved the cruise because they saw so much more without the hassles of flying. In addition to the fabulous Bagan, passengers loved visiting the small villages along the River (without crowds). Staff on boat, meals, cabin...4-5 stars.

The trip was amazing. Our guide in Cambodia and Vietnam, Tran, was extraordinary, he took great care of our group and always kept his composure and positive attitude.

I was amazed by the Gate 1 experience. Everything was exceptional. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and kept an eye on the safety aspect of our trip. The Mekong Navigator was a great boat to travel on, the food was amazing and the complementary alcohol and drinks were very welcoming after a day of exploring. All in all it was a great trip. Gate 1 Travel has been recommended to my friends as the way to comprehensively see a country. We are certainly planning our next trip with you guys.
