Early morning departure from the hotel so that we can make our way to the Old City to begin with a visit to the Temple Mount. (Please remember that the Waqf does not allow bibles or organized praying) From here we will visit the Southern Wall Excavations. This southern side of The Temple was the main entrance for the common folk, whereas the Priests and Levites had their own entrance from the higher eastern side. Parts of the giant stairs, which led to the Temple Mount from the courtyard have been unearthed along with the purification pools. From here Jesus entered the Temple Mount and drove out the vendors and money exchangers who were exploiting the people. It is also likely that this is the place that Peter stood and preached and where thousands were saved and baptized on the Day of Pentecost. Continue to the Western Wall -Plaza the "Kotel", which is considered the most Holiest place for the Jews. Next we will enter the fascinating Rabbinical Tunnels leading us through the Second Temple era. The tunnel and exhibit give a clear understanding of the amazing construction of the Temple Mount, giant stones, water supply and Roman street where our Lord was led to judgment. Before exiting the tunnel we see the immense cornerstone rejected by the builders. This afternoon we will visit the Jewish Quarter, which was reconstructed after the city was unified at the conclusion of the Six-Day War in 1967. A special point of interest in the restored Jewish Quarter is the "Cardo", meaning the "heart" of this ancient Byzantine City. View the unearthed main Roman thoroughfare and ancient marketplace lined with columns. Stop to visit the Temple Institute which was established to begin preparation for the 3rd Temple. The last stop of the day will be the Friends of Zion Heritage Center which is dedicated to the world wide Christian Community which helped the Jewish people throughout the ages. Return to Jerusalem and your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at your hotel. This morning we will make our way to the Mount of Olives for an awesome panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem and the Golden Gates of the Old City. We will drive or stroll down to the bottom of the mountain to the Garden of Gethsemane (prayer service) where Jesus prayed in many occasions and where Jesus was arrested. Continue to Mt. Zion. Here we will visit the site of David's tomb and the Upper Room, where the Last Supper was held. We now return to the Old City entering the Golden Gate. From here we will walk to see the Pool of Bethesda, Stephen's Gate and St. Ann's Church. Continue along the Via Dolorosa stopping at the Judgment Hall of Pilate, hear of those who conspired against Him and are reminded of His brutal beating and humiliation. Retrace the steps of Jesus along the Via Dolorosa while experiencing the colorful bazaars, alleyways and marketplaces (a chance to test our negotiating skills) We will now walk through the Damascus Gate and make our way for a visit to the Garden Tomb. It is also believed by many Christians, this was the site of Golgotha; where Jesus was crucified and where he resurrected. Tour and Communion. Return to your hotel for overnight.

After breakfast we take our leave of Jerusalem making our way to the Dead Sea. As we get closer to the shores of the Dead Sea, we will start to descend to the lowest point on the surface of the earth at 1305 feet (398m) below sea level. We will drive along the shores south and stop at Qumran, where a young shepherd boy discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls. Drive to Ein Gedi and its nature reserve on the shore of the Dead Sea. It is where the fauna and flora of a splendid nature reserve intersect with great biblical adventures. This oasis has been a green Garden of Eden in the wilderness since ancient times, a refuge in the endless desert. The living landscape of David's hideout from Saul and the Song of Solomon comprise some of these adventures. We make our way now to Masada.  As the cable car is not working, we will visit the Masada Museum and our guide Ezra will tell us the story of the Jewish Zealots in their struggle against the Romans. The Zealots held out for three years against the legions of Flavius Silva and chose to die as free men at their own hands in preference to Roman slavery. It is time to go to our hotel.  If the rooms are not available you will have full access to the spa and hotel facilities. Enjoy the mineral rich waters of the Dead Sea and take advantage of the beautiful spa. We will have dinner about 7:00 p.m so lots of time to enjoy what the hotel has to offer.

You will see the remains of Peter's house and the synagogue site where Jesus taught and worshiped. Stop for lunch a lakeside restaurant where we will feast on the famous St. Peter's Fish.We will stop to see Tagbha, where Jesus fed the 5,000 with only five loaves of bread and 2 fish.
