We couldn't have asked for more on our dream vacation with my sisters. Our guide Vic and the bus driver were on top of everything. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Accommodations were great, food and information were all spectacular. Thank you Gate 1 for another amazing trip.Laurene & Donald G. Wareham, MA
Our trip was wonderful! We did and saw so much that I want to go back now to just relax! Our guide, Arjan, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He kept everyone upbeat. We added four additional activities, which were all amazing. We will travel again with Gate 1 in the future.Vicki B. Andover, MN
Our trip to Europe was wonderful! Our tour manager, Nicholas, is an amazing person; his history/geography knowledge and customer service was beyond expectation. Very well organized tours, we sure will travel with Gate 1 again.Linda P. Westminster, CA
Trip was excellent! Gate 1 did a great job. The tour guide Romain was great and took very good care of us all. We will definitely use Gate 1 travel again. Thanks for an excellent 20th Anniversary trip from my wife and I.Edward J. Cary, NC
Our 10 day Classic tour was a family trip arranged to celebrate our granddaughter’s high school graduation ... All arrangements throughout the trip were seamless. Each city tour allowed time for photo opps and the optional excursions were well worth the price. Hotels were great, especially the Apollo in Amsterdam ... Our guide, Anita van Vliet, was amazing ... She handled unanticipated problems efficiently and always showed concern for the welfare of her clients ... Her professionalism and knowledge was obvious. Our bus driver, Moe, should also be acknowledged for his professionalism and generosity. He went above and beyond when a member of the group left a passport in a hotel safe. Gate 1 is very affordable, yet first class in so many ways, and I would not hesitate to recommend Gate 1 to anyone ... Thanks for everything!Carole P. Salado, TX
In one word I would have to describe our excursion as, "exquisite."... We enjoyed learning about the history of important landmarks, relics, and culture of each country we toured. We were extremely pleased with the location of each hotel in proximity to various landmarks, shopping centers and restaurants ... Furthermore our tour manager Mr. Arjan, along with our tour guides, poured their heart into disseminating facts about the history of each country ... This was our very first Gate 1 travel tour and I can't wait to replicate our experience from being on the London to Amsterdam tour in the near future. We can't stop talking about our experience with friends and family.Sonia J. Brooklyn, NY
Our first trip with Gate 1 was absolutely amazing! It was our first trip to Europe ... We are extremely grateful for our most excellent tour guide, Romain. He was very professional and took great care of our needs and tour logistics. In fact, would love to do another tour with him as our guide. We had the best ground transfer crews and local guides. I can’t wait to plan another trip with Gate 1 and I will recommend Gate 1 to all my friends. Thank you for helping me to plan a most memorable trip and experience.Cheryl M. Fremont, CA
Our trip was great! Adorom, our tour director, was very professional and knowledgeable and made our trip exciting, comfortable and flawless. This was our first trip with Gate 1 and my wife and I were very pleased.Mike M. Bristol, CT
My wife and I had a wonderful time on our honeymoon. I also want to add that our tour manager, Wesley, was amazing! He honestly made the trip for us with his organization, knowledge of the areas, humor, and overall willingness to do what needed to be done to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves. Our experience has us sold on taking another trip with Gate1 in the future.Robert B. Charolette, NC
Our trip could not have been any better. From landing in Amsterdam to the time we left Paris we were treated like royalty. Our tour director, Adaram was amazing! We felt so lucky to have him leading our way through Europe. He is extremely knowledgeable and a total class act. He’s a true All Pro. Pasquel, our driver falls in the same category. We felt safe and taken care of beyond our expectations. Those two work together so well. It’s really tough to find people of their caliber. I also wanted to mention our tour guide at Versailles, Nicklaus, was by far the best tour guide I have ever been around. That guy is very interesting and entertaining. My trip was complete after experiencing Versailles under his leadership. I really was impressed with GATE 1. This is a first class operation and I will continue to spread the word!!!Rita K. Lakeland, FL

It was absolutely GREAT! We loved our Gate 1 Israel trip last year, and this one was just as fantastic. I don't know how you do it, but your Tour Managers were simply superb. Such knowledge, such organization, such personality!!! We could not be more pleased. The sites are great, but with such incredible guides, the experience is made even greater. Gate 1 does a fantastic job!Gregory B. Bastrop, TX
We had a wonderful trip! Our hotel accommodations were lovely and very conveniently located! Our trip leader Nino was wonderful! He was so organized, available and took extra time to show us around our hotels...so we could take public transportation.
Nino seemed to anticipate our needs and he took a lot of extra time to explain things very clearly to us! This was our third trip with Gate 1 and we have been very pleased each time!Arthur D. Palm Coast, FL
Enjoyed the trip immensely... Our guide Collin was over the top "Awesome". He would have taken our entire group 24 hours per day if we asked. Absolutely incredible; can't say enough about his attentiveness and concern for the group at all times.
Our two tours with you have both been incredible because of the professionalism of the tour guides. You are very fortunate to have them on your team. Someone is doing a great job screening and hiring these incredibly talented people.
Thank you for a great vacation ... memories and new friends.Robert J. Laguna Woods, CA
The trip was awesome. Our tour guide Aryan was the best. We met some really nice people and have already exchanged photos through email and we are keeping in touch with them . And I am happy to tell you that I just booked my 8th trip with Gate 1 to Greece on June 30. The 11day Athens, Mykonos and 4 day cruise . I am always pleased with how I am treated with Gate 1 and you always do your best to make sure I have a wonderful time. That is why I keep booking trips with you !!Arlene K. Tamarac, FL
We had a wonderful time on our first Gate 1 adventure. The hotels were well located in very nice neighborhoods close to interesting sights and places you would not want to miss. We loved our Tour Coordinator, Arjan, who really went out of his way to help if there was anything that we needed or wanted to do. He did a great job of sharing his home city of Amsterdam with us, explaining the history and the culture of the people and the architecture, etc. All the included meals were excellent. The hotel breakfasts were all you could want. They featured eggs and meats in addition to yogurt, sometimes fruits, along with the usual European fare of wonderful rolls, croissants, wonderful coffee, tea, and pretty much whatever you were looking for in cereals.
We like each of the hotel rooms we had, especially the Hyatt in Paris, which was 33 stories high and gave us a wonderful view of Paris including the Eiffel Tower which mesmerized us with its sparkling lights every half hour. It looked close enough to touch.
The Amsterdam Canal boat ride was fun and we loved walking around Brugge and hearing all about the Begginage community. The village was so peaceful and lovely. Even our bus driver was wonderful. His name was Franz and he spoke wonderful English with a bit of a Scottish accent although he was from Belgium. He was a really fun person, helping us to take photos and very interesting to talk to.
We appreciated the small tour group of only about 15 people. It made everything so much easier not to be waiting for a huge group. It meant we could travel quickly and get to know one another better. The group was nicely balanced with young and older people from all kinds of backgrounds….very enjoyable. We thought it was great value for the money we spent. I don't think we could have found such nice places to stay on our own.
My only disappointment was the plane ride which was very tight and not comfortable. It was a long ride and the food, which you had to BUY, was not very good and was fairly pricey for the poor selection offered. I had flown Icelandic Airline many years ago the first time I traveled to Europe, and it was so different and nicer then. So I was expecting a much better experience. However, the important thing is that it was a safe flight and the staff was pleasant and professional.
Now that I have tried Gate 1, I will definitely book a longer trip with them next time, since I feel sure that they will take good care of us and offer a high quality of tour guides and staffing and great itineraries also. Thanks for all your help in booking the trip from Boston. That made the flight less arduous and shorter.Roberta M. Boston, MA
