My trip was excellent! Kay Leary and Damien (the tour drivers) were excellent. I had a great time -- it was a good group, not too large. All the towns and sites visited were awesome. The hotels were all really nice. I enjoyed the trip immensely and would book another trip on Gate 1.

This was our 1st Signature Collection Tour, and it was really great. It was fun staying in old castles with antique items on display and modern indoor facilities. Our tour director, Lenny Cooke, was fantastic with a good sense of humor. He spends time talking and getting to know each one of us. It was nice joining tour with him in-charge of our group.

Great experience!! Ireland is a beautiful country. Our transportation to and from the airport was flawless. The hotels were perfect. The food was great, everywhere we went. The sights were spectacular. The long hours on the bus and the time constraints were the only thing that we would say was a complaint. And it really isn't a complaint because we know without that we would have not seen everything that we did. Our tour guide and bus driver were great. Eric was our guide and he was always helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Ireland! We appreciate everything you did for us to make our once in a lifetime dream come true!!!

The farewell show was top notch entertainment and we didn't want it to end. Loved having wifi and USB ports on the coach. Another job well done by Gate 1. We are looking forward to planning our next trip!

Our tour of Ireland was just perfect! Not only did the weather cooperate but we were led by Patrick, perhaps the BEST TOUR GUIDE in the business. This guy is everything one would hope for in a leader of a group tour. He's professional yet down-to-earth, knowledgeable AND hilarious! Everyone knew we were in excellent hands from the moment he introduced himself. And our Coach Driver, Peter, worked miracles to get us to and from our destinations with every measure of safety...and calm. These two men did Gate 1 very proud and deserve every good thing that can be said about them. Three Cheers for jobs very well done! This was our 6th Gate 1 Tour and only confirmed what we already knew...Gate 1 is the smartest - and Best - Tour Company around! Thanks!

The trip could only be described as 'magical'. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and caring. At no time did I feel uncomfortable. Our driver was skilled and truly made the trip enjoyable with his humor. Ireland is such a beautiful enchanting place, I now understand how stories of fairies, and little people, Pookas and banchees grew up there. Having the support of the Gate 1 crew from our travel agent to all the people involved set the stage for this incredible journey.

Wonderful! Everything was perfect. We had a wonderful tour guide named Kay, who was knowledgeable, fun, lively, and she made the trip very interesting. The scenery was beautiful and we loved the cobblestone streets and quaint country towns. Especially, loved the Cliffs of Moher and the Ring of Kerry, and the Blarney Castle. Having everything arranged for us made the trip carefree and enjoyable.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Our trip was made more interesting and meaningful by Annie our tour guide who was so knowledgeable about the past and present history of the places we visited, please keep her forever, she is a gem! John, our driver, had the patience of a saint! He was undaunted, drove us expertly through the chaos of dizzying traffic, livestock and chatter of human beings that could drive a sane man into the brink of insanity. Among the most enjoyable highlights of the trip were, the luncheon visit at the farm owned by an Irish family gave us the opportunity to learn "up close and personal" about Irish farm life and the visit to the Atlantic sheepdog farm in Grange (Sligo) where owner, Martin's sheepdog Jack entertained us with what a well-trained border collie (Jack is #3 sheepdog in Ireland) can do to herd and "lord over" his master's sheep when necessary. This visit was such a wonderful and unique experience and should be a "must see" on this itinerary! Then my sister Clarita and I enjoyed visiting Cliff of Moher, Blarney Castle and Blarney Mansion and Gardens (which we missed last year when we visited Southern Ireland) and Galway again. On the way to Northern Ireland brought new awesome and fun discoveries, the W.B. Yeats Poetry reading and dinner, London Derry and its beautiful and historic city, the wonder of the Giant Causeway and the Titanic Museum in Belfast. Thanks Gate 1 for a wonderful and awe inspiring tour! My sister and I enjoyed trip so much we are looking into another one of your tours.

It was a wonderful trip of a life-time to Ireland. Gary, our travel guide, grew up in the Cork City, Ireland area and she truly loves her country. She was not only fun loving and knowledgeable but she watched over our tour group with great care and anticipated our every need. The Irish people are friendly and helpful to tourists visiting their country. We were impressed by how clean and well manicured the entire country is. The food was very good and the hotels were exceptional. We loved the music and story telling in the pubs and I participated in all of the side trips offered to us which were great fun.

We had a wonderful trip! The tour manager, Eric, did an excellent job of keeping us on the itinerary and providing an interesting commentary as we visited a number of Ireland sites. We felt as though we got excellent value considering the air, hotels, meals, admissions, etc. and were able to see and learn far more than traveling on your own. We will certainly be looking for other trips through Gate 1 travel and we are recommending Gate 1 to our friends.

The trip was a delight. It is obvious a great deal of research and preparation goes in to planning a trip like this, such that the customer experience is enhanced. The selection of hotels, the careful planning of locations to visit, and the amazing people who execute it all are what makes the experience a real joy. Martina, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and passionate about her home country (Ireland) that you felt the true feeling of pride the Irish people have for their homeland and it's history. The drivers you employ are true professionals to be able to navigate the narrow roads and the traffic. My wife and I had a wonderful time, and will recommend Gate 1 to everyone. The trip was fabulous from beginning to end. Our guide, Gai, was fantastic- a great guide - charming, personable, knowledgeable, and just an all around nice guy! Israel is an extraordinary country, from the people to the food to the history and to the wonderful things going on there now. I can't wait to go back again one day!

We had a group of 4 family members. All 4 of us were EXTREMELY pleased with the whole trip. We absolutely LOVED Allacoque (Hope I spelled her name right). She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Even though the tour was finished she checked on us at breakfast and came down to the door to see that we were picked up on time. We were also EXTREMELY happy with our driver, Declan. Some of those roads were very narrow and scary!! We had absolutely no troubles with our luggage. This was our first trip with Gate 1 but it definitely won't be our last!!

We had a wonderful trip! Beyond our expectations, actually. Our tour guide, Marie, was incredible! Professional, knowledgeable, extremely sweet. Those are just some of the words to describe her! She was truly kind, and watched over us like a mama grizzly bear! Our Driver, John was an expert and very kind, as well. The hotels and personnel were very nice. We're looking forward to another great trip with Gate 1. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for another great deal!

Our trip to Ireland was fabulous. We really enjoyed every aspect of it. The accommodations were wonderful, the suggested itinerary was very helpful, although we didn't get to everything on the plan we thoroughly enjoyed everything we did (and have a plan for our return, we will definitely take this trip again). We have booked several trips with Gate 1 and have consistently been very pleased with each one, we recommend your agency often.

It was great! Beautiful country. Friendly people. Fantastic food. Nice hotel. You can't walk 100 feet without being in front of a pub (Well, that could be a slight exaggeration). And I had two people in the car with me to keep me driving in the left lane. What more could I ask for other than a longer trip?

Our trip was fantastic. We will certainly book again through Gate 1. You guys are so detailed with everything, I loved it. There was no question unanswered. Everything was covered from passports, luggage, timing, reminders. You guys certainly know what you are doing. I keep looking at the specials sent our way anticipating our next trip. Our daughters also had a wonderful time. Everyone we tell about our trip can't believe what we got for what we paid. I think we have family and friends checking out gate 1. Thank you so much for all of your help and suggestions/recommendations. If there is a rating for you, I give you the highest rating. Thank you also for following up to see how the trip was. Our trip was just amazing and wonderful! I enjoyed all the cities we were able to visit! The amount of time allowed for free time was perfect. Some tours just run you constantly and don't allow you to explore on your own. The hotels were really spectacular. They were very centrally located which allowed us to see the city without taxi or subways. They were all very high quality! Our Tour Director Patrick was so knowledgeable about all the culture, history and trivia about Ireland. He was a pleasure! We all have wonderful things to say about him! Our driver Casper was such a professional and careful driver. I will definitely recommend Gate 1 to friends and family!

This was my first Gate 1 experience and it knocked the ball out of the park! First and foremost, our tour guide, Patrick is the KING of guides. His historic knowledge of Ireland combined with his personal stories and humor were wonderful and kept the tour group engaged throughout the entire trip. Also, our driver, Caspers, was courteous and mastered the narrow curving roads as though this was just a routine drive in the country side. In addition, our hotels were centrally located in the towns visited which made it easy for us to explore. Great choices! I will definitely consider another vacation with Gate 1, Keep up the good work and good pricing.

We had a wonderful trip! We loved Ireland and had a great time! This was our first time using Gate 1 Travel and we had a great experience. We would use Gate 1 again and would recommend Gate 1 to our friends. Evelyn was a fantastic tour guide and T.J. did a great job as our bus driver. We loved the vicinity of our hotels and we easily walked to the shops, restaurants, and pubs. The hotels and breakfasts were very good. No complaints.

Our trip to Ireland was absolutely wonderful! Our Tour Director, Alacoque, and our bus driver, John, were knowledgeable and entertaining and very skilled in their jobs. If you have a way to "pat them on the back," my husband and I would really appreciate it. Ireland is so beautiful that it is difficult to choose favorite places. The grounds of Blarney Castle and the Cliffs of Moher were truly sights to behold. Your tour was the only one in our price range that included Northern Ireland, and I'm so glad we decided to do that. I understand more than ever before about what happened there (and is still happening to a degree). As far as museums go, the Titanic Experience was superb. We were almost late to the bus! I know that no one had anything to do with it, but our weather was superlative, only misting a bit here and there. Alacoque and John seemed in awe themselves, remarking quite often about how lucky we were to be able to see the sights while the sun was shining. I so enjoyed the flowers. I couldn't believe the color in Ireland's Hydrangeas, something I could never have achieved over our dry summer here in South Carolina. When we plan our next tour, we will surely consider Gate 1 first.

Our trip was awesome - starting with Evelyn, our trip guide who was most informative and fun. She gave insight into the history and lives of the Irish people and pointed out places and things of interest. I would love to be able to tour with her again. The hotels we stayed were very nice with friendly and helpful staff. The Irish breakfasts and dinners were all very good. I want to make special mention of Bernadette at the Bromhall Hotel in Killarney who went beyond anything my friend and I expected to get us to the Celtic Steps show after we missed the coach ride to the event. The coach driver Thomas (TJ) did an excellent job of escorting us safely and in a timely manner while also handling our luggage on and off the coach. The weather was very much in our favor the entire trip. We had mist one day and I never had to use an umbrella. Thank you Ireland ! This was everything I had looked forward to and MORE !!

Gate 1 did it again! Our trip was wonderful! Our tour guide Doug and driver T.J. were impeccable. Doug's knowledge of all the sites brought everything to life. Although we had a couple days of rain, he always had some good ol' fashioned Irish blarney to keep us in good spirits. Doug also had great suggestions for doing things in our spare time. Galway was one of our favorite stops as was KilKenny. The optional excursions were also well worth it. The Irish people were all so friendly and very proud of their country. We plan on many more trips with Gate 1 in the future!

Another winner thank you! I had already taken the Classic Ireland trip a few summers back and liked it so much that took the Kaleidoscope tour this summer. Although there is a little bit of overlap, there is enough that is different and new to make it a perfect complementing view of the Emerald Isle. Everything worked like clockwork – the tour is very well paced and feels leisurely. Ireland provides the perfect backdrop for a really worthwhile and relaxing vacation – beautiful scenery, friendly people – that say “you're welcome” before you even start a conversation, good food, mild weather, history galore and so much more. We had a brilliant driver Dave Ryan and a charming and knowledgeable tour manager, Doug who provided the base of a safe, interesting and good natured tour. Hotels were uniformly excellent – the Absolute Hotel in Limerick was especially fantastic, and the included meals were all good with plentiful choices. The farewell dinner at the Courtyard Bar & Grill, a Marco Pierre White restaurant in Dublin, was exceptional. Highlights for me were some of the new places I got to see – beautiful Kinsale, surprising Limerick, Northern Ireland – so close, yet so different, and most of all the gorgeous NW of the country, County Sligo and County Donegal, that most tours of Ireland miss. And definitely take the optional Yeats Experience dinner in Sligo - a one of a kind night and a lasting memory. This was Gate 1 Tour number 20 for me and was another winner! Thank you as always!

Our trip, my daughters and I, was fabulous! Jamie, Kim, Emily and I arrived at the airport and Gate 1 was waiting for us. From that moment on everything went smoothly. There was not a single thing I would complain about. Our tour manager, Anne, was amazing. Her knowledge of Ireland is quite impressive, she was fun to travel with, and kept us on time so we could see everything, she worked very hard. The itinerary was perfect for a first timer in Ireland, we saw all the key things we wanted to see and then some. There was enough free time built in so we could explore the cities on our own too. All the little surprises, like when a meal is included and you expect it to be typical hotel buffet, and then its not, its a full blown 3 course waiter/waitress served meal, I was astounded. So much value in this trip! I researched ahead of time and your price was the best, not knowing what exactly to expect. I was worried the hotels were not going to be nice and the tour just average. And it was not, the hotels were great and I feel my family really got their monies worth out of this tour. I have been spreading the name Gate 1 all over since. We even ran into some strangers at Blarney castle who spotted out gate 1 lanyard and came up to us to tell us how fabulous Gate 1 was and that they had travelled to Costa Rica with you.You can count on us to travel with you again in the future.
