Morocco was a wonderful vacation. Gate 1 is a fabulous host and provided us with an affordable, exotic, wonderful vacation. The tour guide on our Morocco trip, Hesham, he was so kind, open to answer ALL questions, upfront about the trip, and so professional. He made the trip even more enjoyable. The bus we rode on was new, the hotels were acceptable, and the additional excursions were great, as were the guides for those as well. My husband and I were happy that all the other tourists were friendly and very nice, we all became like family. We are so pleased with this vacation that we have made another trip with Gate 1 for July. We cannot wait.

Fantastic! Our guide, Abdel, was phenomenal. His English was very good. His sense of humor was excellent. Abdel was open to answering all of our questions and presenting Morocco in the best light always. He was very invested in showing us all an excellent time. I would rate him the best guide ever!!

We had a wonderful time. This was our 4th Gate 1 trip and our 3rd with a guide. All of our Gate 1 trips have been great, as well as our guides too. Our guide for this trip was Abdel, an experienced, knowledgeable and caring guide. We had a large group (about 40) and he did an excellent job of keeping us informed, prompt and safe. Abdel has an extensive knowledge of Moroccan history, politics and tourism. He was caring and patient with us. For example, he took 20 minutes to tie our turbans so we looked “just right” when we rode camels into the Sahara. He knew each city intimately and advised us carefully and repeatedly how to avoid issues (like pickpockets and scammers) and how to have a safe fun trip. We also appreciate a few things that made the trip go smoother: - Abdel gave us electrical converters to use for our phones, cameras, etc. - Abdel had small bills of local currency available the first night so that we could exchange money with him for tips, etc ... We highly recommend Gate 1 in Morocco and Abdel as a guide.

We had the best time in Morocco! It was our eighth trip with Gate 1 and they still continue to amaze us. Abdelkader was an incredible tour guide. He not only shared the country with us, he also educated us about the culture. We felt very well taken care of since all of our questions were answered and any help needed was given graciously. By the end of the trip we truly did feel like a family...

This 13 Day Kaleidoscope of Morocco was one of the best vacations I have had for many reasons. Our Tour Manager, Khalid, was an amazing Tour Manager. He had a lot of knowledge of Morocco, the history and the geography of the area. He shared a ton of information with our group. Khalid was patient, kind, and caring of every member of our group-- there were approximately 43 of us. I never felt un-safe or I never worried about any destination, thanks to Khalid. I was particularly impressed with our Local Guide in FEZ, Hesham (not sure if I've spelled his first name correctly). Hesham is one of the best spoken, knowledgeable tour guides I have EVER experienced. He is a brilliant scholar and communicator ... He was a highlight of this tour. Morocco is a wonderful destination. There is so much to see, experience, and enjoy, from the food, to the people, sights ... I would rate this Tour a 10+. Thank you, Gate 1 Travel for offering an affordable adventure to the beautiful land of Morocco.

Our trip with Gate 1 was absolutely wonderful. As a first-time group tour traveler, I did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived the staff was just fantastic, helpful, respectful and friendly. It was also great to have someone escort us almost all the way to the gate on the way back. Driss our guide was very knowledgeable, kept us interested, very friendly, smart, professional, detailed, authentic and down to earth. It was a pleasure to have him as a guide. Assis the assistant and Habib the driver were also incredibly helpful, professional and hardworking. Our comfort and security was always their priority. We were very grateful to have them as part of our staff. I also appreciate that Gate 1 has a very friendly process and the documentation was just perfect. The site is very friendly to navigate, and we were contacted in case of any changes. You guys are on top of things and that peace of mind will keep us coming back.

Our trip was fabulous. Morocco is a fascinating country. We saw wonderful sights and learned much about the culture, history, geography, and it’s people. Our guide, Amine, was top-notch. He was extremely organized, flexible, informative, and had a great sense of humor. Many aspects and activities were surprising like the cooking class, hidden Riad hotels, and the desert experience surpassed our expectations!

Our trip was wonderful! I cannot say enough about our guide Ibrahim. His breadth of knowledge and great personality made him a fantastic ambassador for both Morocco and Gate 1. This was our first time doing a tour so we were not sure what to expect. Ibrahim was great about letting us know exactly what to expect for the day. Everything was very timely and smooth, even when Ibrahim was dealing with special details for people in the group (late flight arrivals, lost luggage, early departures, etc). We appreciate the amazing hotels, the nice food/drink, the comfortable bus, some flexibility on certain days and the knowledgeable city guides on this Gate 1 tour.

Our trip was terrific! Our guide Khalid Lamdira was outstanding. Beyond patient with a large group of people, an itinerary and schedule that met everyone's needs, good-natured and funny while also sharing a wealth of information about Morocco. He really went above and beyond the expectations of a tour guide. And a special shout out to the bus driver - who was never on his cell phone and drove safely - and the assistant for taking such good care of us; keeping us hydrated with plenty of bottled water, the bus clean, and helping us with our luggage. We will enthusiastically recommend Gate 1 to our friends. Thank you!

The Morocco trip was a great adventure! Our guide, Khalid, was very knowledgeable, extremely patient and went above and beyond the call of duty to assist the guests with a variety of concerns. The weather was perfect throughout the trip. I chose 4 of the 5 optional trips and was happy with all the choices. I am amazed that the price for the 13 days was so affordable. It was a great tour of Morocco. Hesham was a truly fabulous guide. Bus driver, Azziz, and assistant, Hosnie, were excellent. The hotel accommodations (some with swimming pools) and restaurants very good. Pace was a bit fast for me, but the trip overall was just what I had hoped for. Shopping opportunities in nearly every city. Lots of lovely sweet mint tea and great coffee au lait. Hesham guided us to ATM's at banks (to anticipate any problems - but there were none). Lots of history and cultural learning along the way. I am now resting up from such a great trip. I plan to take another Gate 1 tour.

The trip was wonderful. Morocco was a delightful surprises that has it all .... green valleys and hills, snow capped mountains, coast lines and that famous desert! Our guide, Hassan Moustaid, was so gracious and so well organized. His knowledge of his country was amazing. The food was overall good, but that on the options outstanding. Finally, I can't say enough about the sunset camel ride into the Sahara! An evening to remember. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in that part of the world. It was wonderful!

Our Moroccan Allure Discovery tour was AMAZING from start to finish! We traveled with 14 of our friends. The six others that joined the small group said it was the BEST tour they had been on, ever! Larbi, our tour guide, was in one word GREAT. Larbi anticipated our ever need. He always went above and beyond so that we could have the best experiences ever! It was clear to us that he loves his country and his job sharing it with us! His knowledge of history and his willingness to answer every question helped us understand Morocco and its culture! Hassan, the driver, took us all around with great skill and care. Redone, the bus assistant, was most helpful, as well! My wife and I have traveled all over the world with and without tours! Gate 1 is the only way to go!

He was efficient, sensitive to everyone’s needs, knowledgeable, fun, really thought of everything and anticipated all the possible issues that could arise on such a trip. The scenery was magnificent, the itinerary was perfect and the trip to the desert was memorable. Every day was filled with another delightful surprise. Loved being greeted with music, mint tea & cookies everywhere. The cultural experience and interpersonal aspect of getting to know Morocco was heartwarming and one we will truly keep with us forever.

I must say, I had a great time. I’ve always solo traveled, mostly backpack style, in the past, so I wasn’t sure how the tour would go. I loved it! Ham, our tour guide, was absolutely wonderful (as were all of our tour guides) and we made some great friends on the tour. And, my boyfriend and I absolutely loved Morocco! The whole trip was amazing. Some of the delay caused by the weather was not under control and was not any major inconvenience. Hotels and food were fantastic. Trips we booked were great and very educational. All pictures we took, total of about 2000, show the beauty of Morocco. But, the most important and valuable part of the trip, was out tour guide Ali (Abdelali Lakhdimi). His knowledge, kindness, and overall management were above the average and highly appreciated. It was additional treat in whole package from Gate1. Again, we miss already everything about the trip and truly thank you for putting it together like this.

I have taken many trips with Gate 1 over the years and usually do a great deal of research about the the places and sights to be seen. This trip to Morocco I did not have time due to my work schedule to do that. I always have high expectations of Gate 1 but but this trip so far exceeded my expectations that I was actually glad that I had not done the research. Thanks to our guide Brahim I am convinced that of all my escorted travels this trip to Morocco was by far the very best. I was truly amazed and surprised at every turn on the trip and thanks to Brahim's knowledge, historical perspective, pride in his country and its accomplishments, language and cultural skills and above all his wonderful sense of humor, Morocco and Brahim will be forever in my memory as one of the best travel experiences in my life. I was ready to move to Morocco after spending two weeks with Brahim. I know that Gate 1 and Morocco have a national treasure in Brahim Aghraz and Gate 1, the King, Morocco and the Berner people should be very proud to have someone like him to introduce Morocco to the world. I have been back home in Canada for a while but I still miss my daily dose of Brahim BLA-BLA. Thanks Gate 1 and Brahim for another wonderful trip.

Our trip was fantastic. I was so very impressed that all the details of travel were taken into account. We were kept well informed of what we were going to be seeing, the timing of stops, the meals that were going to be provided, tips on independent sight seeing, wifi codes, and absolutely everything. Some travel days started early so that we would be able to see a sunset from a great vantage point, others a little later to give a chance to recuperate. We learned some things about the country, the people, the government, and certainly the history. Our tour manager Ibrahim was superb.

The Gate 1 experience was absolutely fantastic! We were well cared for by Gate 1 representatives from the moment we exited the airport in Casablanca the day we arrived until we reached the airport security area the day we flew home. We loved all of our city guides and Ibrahim Aghraz, our national guide, is hands-down the best guide we've ever had. He was unfailingly warm, kind and patient, full of fun and has such a deep knowledge of and passion for his country. His love for people and for his job comes through in his every word and his ability to shepherd his group in such a caring way is just exceptional. Herding 38 people through Morocco is no easy task, I'm sure, but Ibrahim made it look effortless. I'm sure I can speak for all 38 of us when I say that we adored him. Thank you, Gate 1, for putting together such an amazing tour and for hiring such amazing people!
