Is This Trip Right for You?

This independent program allows the flexibility to explore on your own. Affordable optional sightseeing excursions are available to enhance your holiday. Tropical climate year round makes Costa Rica an ideal location for your moderate to activity-filled holiday, which may include zip lining, hiking, swimming, sailing, wildlife viewing, beaches, hot springs, volcanoes and so much more. Please note that this tour is not escorted and therefore you will not have the services of a tour manager to assist with hotel check-in formalities and luggage handling. Road travel will be picturesque and allow you to experience the uniquely "Costa Rican massage" of often unpaved, pot-holed roads providing the only access between cities. This program's unconstrained nature excludes group advantages associated with escorted tours. Airfare options for this program may not include checked luggage nor advance seat assignments, in which case checked luggage fees will apply and seat assignments will only be available at check-in. Adjacent seats may not be available. Higher airfares including checked luggage and/or advanced seat assignments are available, or you may choose to travel with carry-on luggage only.
