14 Day Classic Greece with Crete & Santorini, April 2024
This was our first Gate 1 trip. The guide, Panos, was AWESOME! He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the places we visited. He was caring and compassionate to all the members of our group! He has a wonderful personality and is perfect for the tour guide position! During our long bus rides, he kept us entertained with interesting information and singing to us! It was such an enjoyable experience! The dinner in Crete was probably our favorite! It was in a little village at a small family-owned restaurant. There were 2 musicians that played beautiful music. Four college students also joined us. During the bus ride and dinner, we were able to talk with them about their lives growing up in Greece. It was cool! The students then showed us traditional dances while the musicians played. It was a fantastic night!

13 Day Turkish Treasures, April 2024
Our trip was phenomenal, thanks largely to the great scheduling and our awesome guide, Erkal. We felt like every day had another great adventure or pleasant surprise. Each archeological site, city, interactions with locals, offered something unique and fascinating. The Turkish people were wonderful, down to earth. And our fellow passengers were equally as fascinating to get to know. Gate 1 truly is family for travelers; you can relax about the schedule and all the details, and just concentrate on having a great time with like minded travelers--many of whom we hope to see again on another excursion!
