MS Fridtjof Nansen is the latest addition to Hurtigruten’s fleet of custom-built ships – and represents the next generation of expedition ships. She will explore some of the most spectacular corners of the globe.

All cabins include private bathrooms with shower. Most of the cabins have separate beds where one doubles as a sofa, while some are equipped with a double bed or upper and lower berths. All the cabins have individual specifications.

Expedition Suite
These suites are large, well-appointed cabins with expansive windows and most have balconies. The suites feature flexible sleeping arrangements, sitting areas and TV. Expedition suites are in upper and mid-deck locations. All cabins are outside and include an amenity kit, minibar, bathrobe, and espresso maker. 215-495 sq. ft.

Arctic Superior
These cabins are comfortable accommodations on middle and high decks and most have balconies. Most have flexible sleeping arrangements, though some have a double bed and some have a sofa bed, and TV. All cabins are outside cabins and include an amenity kit, kettle, tea and coffee. 161-290 sq. ft.

These cabins are on the middle decks with windows. All cabins are outside and most have flexible sleeping arrangements, though some have a double bed and some have a sofa bed, and TV. 182-247 sq. ft.

Hybrid Cruising
MS Fridtjof Nansen is one of the first expedition ships ever to sail with electric hybrid technology. This will reduce fuel consumption approximately 20 percent and enable the ship to sail on 100% electric power for up to 30 minutes, allowing you to experience the wonder of the Polar regions in near-total silence.
