Airline Policies
Group Airline Seat Assignments
Policies governing seat assignments for groups vary greatly by airline. Most airlines currently offer preferred seating, a system which allows them to charge additional fees for more desirable seats, which may include window and aisle seats. As a result, many seats displayed on airline seat maps are set aside for clients willing to pay additional fees for them. Some seats may only be accessible at airport check-in, although sometimes passengers with frequent flyer status may have earlier access. Seat assignments are not guaranteed. Loss of assignments may occur at any time due to airline schedule changes, or even as a result of individual passengers making changes directly with airlines on their group seat assignments. In many cases, airlines will not assign seats for groups until approximately 30 days prior. At this time, we will do all possible to seat passengers together and in the best available seats. However, it may not be possible to assign seats of each passenger's individual choice. Once assigned, typically seats may only be changed at airport check-in. Domestic US flights as well as flights within Europe do not permit group seat assignments. An exact passport name is required to complete seat assignments. Subsequent name corrections may result in the loss of seat assignments, in addition to other fees. Some airlines reserve the right to refuse subsequent seat changes, once preliminary seat assignments have been completed. Airline reservation agents are often prohibited from assisting with seat requests for group reservations.

Important Considerations:
- Seats are subject to availability and airline discretion and are subject to change without notice. There are no guarantees that the airline will honor our requests.
- A complete passport name list must be submitted in order to request seats.
- If any name is changed we lose the seat assignment and may not be able to get it back.
- Special seat requests such as front of the cabin, exit row and bulkhead are typically blocked for full fare passengers with high frequent flyer status or airport check-in.
- A portion of seats on all flights are reserved for airport check in and cannot be reserved in advance.
- Flights within Europe are often blocked; therefore no seat assignments are possible.
- Airlines reserve the right to refuse further seat changes once the initial list of seat requests has been worked and all passengers have seats.
- Most airlines instruct individual reservation agents not to work on group reservations in any way.
