Kayaking in Antarctica - From $890 per person

Experience the Antarctic coastline while Kayaking; be exposed to the beauty of nature and its unconquerable silence, an interaction that is seriously emphasized as we slowly glide through the water, meeting penguins and seals and witnessing majestic icebergs. If we get lucky, even whales might be seen swimming around the kayaks.

This package includes several sailing trips, which are sold as a whole package. Because we are highly dependent on the weather in Antarctica and safety is our main priority, it will be assessed on a daily basis whether or not it is safe to launch the kayaks. However, our skilled Kayaking team will do everything in their power to ensure as many trips as possible throughout the journey. There are limited kayaks on this expedition to Antarctica, and Kayaking experience is required.
During the kayaking tours, a kayak expert will join us, as well as an additional safety guide in a Zodiac nearby, to safeguard the return to the ship in case of unexpected weather changes.

There is a maximum capacity of 14 guests. All equipment, guides and instructions will be provided by Albatros Expeditions and are included in the package price.

Snowshoeing and Hiking in Antarctica - From $190 per person

Experience the 7th continent in the same way the great explorers first did it. We will hike to carefully selected scenic locations, some inaccessible otherwise; this excursion provides a great opportunity to photograph the dramatic panorama and spectacle.

Whenever the snow gets too deep, we’ll get to wear our snow shoes and possibly use our ski poles, to get around in areas of deep and frequent snowfall.
Our hiking experts, together with the expedition leader, will select routes that should contribute to a unique and exciting experience. Snowshoes and ski poles provided by Albatros.
