8 Day Portugal & Spain Vineyards, Palaces, Gardens & Ports Walking Tour, October 2023
I want to say that the walking tour in Portugal/Spain was INCREDIBLE. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and was one of the most unique agency-run trips I've ever taken. The guides were so knowledgeable and full of positive energy. The activities were also unique -- tour of artist's studio, boat tour of the Camino de Santiago, etc. It rained the entire time and even that didn't detract from this amazing experience. I can see how this trip might not be right for a lot of the, say, typical Gate 1 consumers; I do hope that Gate 1 continues to offer more active/adventurous trips in the future, despite it not being the right fit for some of your clientele. I think this type of tour can attract a younger, more adventure-seeking crowd and I know? my same-age friends (40-somethings) will be interested in these types of trips.
