10 Day Classic Brazil and Argentina, September 2024

It was an unforgettable trip. I met an excellent tour manager Virginia. She is a caring and detailed person. There were 40 members in the group. Based on the passport information, she notified us there was a over 90 years old member in the group. She reminded us to ask when we need help or information for the leisure time in the cities. I learned that she is very familiar with the cities we visited. She is a local, a trip advisor and a live city guidebook. In particular Virginia showed her hard work, effort, HR techniques and resources when our domestic flight was affected by the protest of pilots and crew members. We all got on the flight in the evening before and stayed in another 4.4-star hotel. No doubt I have to give credit to Gate 1 policy and support. The next day it was supposed to be a flight day and free day. In the morning, she personally gave us a city tour. Very impressive was two birthday cakes in the farewell dinner for the two group members. No one knew. Virginia learned from the passports and arranged these for them. During this trip I met not only good local guides, good drivers, and also Virginia, the best tour manager I have ever met.

18 Day Classic Brazil, Argentina & Peru, August 2024

This was a long but fantastic trip to Brazil, Argentina and Peru. Jorge was an absolute gem of a tour guide! Personable, knowledgeable, caring, attentive to details and humorous. 10 star rating! The best tour guide we have ever had for any of our trips including other companies that we have traveled with. The local guides were also great and informative. Julio in Peru was also a great guide. 10 stars for him as well. Looking forward to more trips with Gate 1! Thank you for the wonderful memories.
