Eric was an amazing tour director. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Great sense of humor and he really made the trip a wonderful experience. He managed, by having such a positive influence, to take a bunch of very different types of people and make us a friendly, considerate group who genuinely cared for the welfare of each other. And his printing out and sharing the specific itinerary for the next day, along with his phone number, immensely helped to insure that we knew what to expect. He's a gem. Our driver, Nathan, was also fabulous! He is a very careful driver and was willing to work with Eric to go to side trips that Eric recommended. They worked together very well.

My trip to the National Parks was amazing! The places we went to are beautiful, but our tour guide made the trip! Kerry was so knowledgeable and personable, that he really made the trip for all of us. We had a step on guide one of the days in Yellowstone... he didn't know half of the information that Kerry does about Yellowstone National Park. Kerry arranged several special opportunities and photo ops for us. It was clear that he worked overtime to make sure that we all had the best experience possible. The route of the trip was well planned and beautiful, and we also had a great bus driver named Kirt, who not only was an excellent driver, but also interacted with the guide and the group. The hotels were excellent, included meals were good, timing was good. It was an excellent trip enhanced by the quality of our tour director!!!

The trip was fantastic as usual. We loved all the parks and our guide Shybree is a delight. Lisa is a great driver and we felt very safe in her hands. Good choice in all the hotels. We couldn't have been happier with our trip. Thank you!!

Our trip was wonderful. A highlight was the Grand Ole Opry where one of the singers was Carrie Underwood. We learned much about our nation's music and musicians. Independent Tour guides plus the Gate 1 tour manager, Haydee and Jimmie, our driver, were exceptional. Always accommodating and concerned for the travelers. Lots of comradery from fellow travelers. We would recommend this trip for future travelers.

Bobby was an outstanding tour guide in every way....excellent communicator, demonstrated concern for our safety, ensured that guests were treated properly and had a full schedule without overwhelming them. Funny too which was a value added bonus!!! Great job! Excellent all around.

It was an amazing trip, the views were spectacular especially Arches National Park, Million Dollar Highway and exploring downtown Santa Fe. We were treated to a private tour of Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. Eric , our tour manager, was exceptional with his narrative of the parks and history. I enjoy the history as much as the views. Bravo to Skip, our bus driver, for navigating the narrow passages and long drives. Gate 1 Travel is the best!

Nick, our tour guide, was truly outstanding. He was personable, engaging, and brought a great energy to the entire experience. His knowledge was impressive, and he treated everyone in the group with genuine respect. Nick had a natural ability to make us laugh while also making each person feel valued and included. Overall, he was a wonderful guide and an exceptional person. I would absolutely feel comfortable and confident joining another trip with Nick in the future.

It was excellent . The driver David was wonderful and skillful, not only providing a smooth ride, but also sharing some of his travel tales with us. The tour guide Kathryn was fantastic: knowledgeable, energetic, for sure going "above and beyond" the routine expectations. The trip was well organized and executed. Great experience!

Our guide, Kathryn went above and beyond with her positivity, patience with people problems, and persistence with setting surprises for each day to make magical moments and memories for us. Always a teacher, we had info on each state that was unique and informative. We worked as a team with our cohorts and exchanged phone numbers afterwards. She supplied unique tastings and treats to keep us further engaged. I highly recommend her tours. Additionally, our driver, Mr. Dave as Kathryn's cohort added additional jokes, movie trivia, and singing to entertain us on our long drives.

We just returned from our absolutely fantastic Alaska trip! We travelled on this exact same Gate1 Alaska tour 7 years ago, loving it so much that we booked it again and hoped to recreate the great experience we had then. Our trip this year was every bit as wonderful as the first one! Our Tour Manager, Shybree, was the perfect manager for this tour! She was energetic and personable, friendly and fun, and communicated effectively so that all of us knew where to be when and there were never any problems with timing. She made herself available to be sure each passenger had any suggestions, support or information they needed to make their trip enjoyable. She and our driver Jeremy worked well together, even adding a few photo stops along our drives and extra pick up and drop offs when our hotel was too far for us to walk to individually planned activities or meals. We would love to have Shybree as Tour Manager of another of our Gate1 tours!

This was our second trip with Gate1, and we were lucky enough to have Garrett as our Tour Manager for the second time! We really loved Garrett and enjoyed his knowledge and vast experience with the places we visited on both of our tours. I'm sure all of the Tour Managers are excellent, but Garrett is exceptional in relating his personal experiences and showing the group places and areas that are not well known, due to his own love of the outdoors. He is truly an exceptional Tour Manager and we hope to meet him for future travel with Gate 1!

I would like to say what an asset Haydee, tour director, is to your company. She is truly an unusual person with deep concern to provide excellent experience for her guests. She seems to have unlimited energy and bountiful knowledge (that she can share in interesting manner). She actually implemented a game to help pass the long drive part of trip! She needs an aciculate from the company.

This 13 Day Tour of the National Parks was Top Notch. Michelle our Tour Director gave us an outstanding experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historical facts with local insights that brought each location to life. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and sense of humor kept our group engaged throughout the tour. She was also very attentive to everyone's needs, answered questions thoughtfully, and made sure the pace was comfortable for everyone. Michelle's expertise and warm personality shown through as one of the highlights of our trip. Sam, our tour driver was friendly, interactive and helpful with everyone on the tour. He personally made me feel extremely safe on some very windy and treacherous roads with his excellent driving abilities. Both Michelle and Sam and the overall trip -- Highly recommended!"

The trip was wonderful!!! Thank you for recommending having a balcony and telling me about the experience you had on your Alaskan cruise. It really helped a lot. I'd also like to mention our tour guide, Ann. She was excellent! We aren't sure when or where our next adventure. will be but it will definitely be a Gate 1 trip.

My "12 Day Pacific Northwest with Columbia River Gorge & Seattle" was yet another amazing Gate1 trip! The hotels were strategically located near our main attractions. They provided excellent breakfast buffets and were within walking distance of other restaurants. The itinerary provided a good amount of time at featured locations, although I do wish we had more time at Crater Lake and in the Redwood forests. Dani, our Tour Manager was fantastic. Her knowledge of the places we visited was nearly encyclopedic. Ever jovial, she kept the tour light and breezy and made sure we all had a good time. That is no small feat especially since travelers joined the group at different times during the tour. She was simply an absolute joy to be around! Well done Gate1! Well done!

Our trip to the National Parks was absolutely fantastic. Doreen was superb! My husband and I were amazed at how knowledgeable she is about our country's history. We have learned so much and have come to appreciate our beautiful country even more. Steve our driver is such a good driver and people pleaser. He was an added bonus to our trip. Gate 1 is blessed to have Doreen and Steve.

Doreen was an exceptional tour manager in achieving group harmony, having a fun personality, while being professional and punctual. We saw things along the way that weren't mentioned in the itinerary all while maintaining our schedule for the day. We had a lot of first time Gate 1 travelers on the tour, but we melded together quickly as a 'family'. Steve, our driver went above and beyond. His friendliness, sense of humor and his professionalism was a joy each day. It was a great tour and we miss everyone already. We would highly recommend this tour.

I just wanted to let someone at Gate 1 know that our tour manager, Shybree, is an absolute gem! She is a breath of fresh air. Her knowledge of the area is outstanding. She is very organized, intelligent, kind, caring, funny, and personable and just made our trip so very enjoyable! Our bus driver Ronnie was professional, friendly, helpful and went out of his way to make us all comfortable and keep us safe. The big, beautiful, red motorcoach was always clean. We truly appreciate the importance of his job. Kudos on hiring these awesome individuals who help make our travels educational, enjoyable, memorable and safe! We were so pleased with our Gate 1 experience!

We had never been on a guided tour trip before but enjoyed this so much! I wanted to compliment our tour manager (Jason) on the excellent job he did. He provided so much information/education regarding the areas/experiences. I feel that he worked extremely hard to make the most out of every destination/experience. He was pleasant and tolerated all of us so well! We would definitely use Gate 1 again. Jason is definitely an asset to your company and deserves recognition.
