Amalfi City Tax
The authorities of Amalfi apply a city tax on all hotels which is charged and collected by your hotel. The tax is 1.50 Euros per person per night. It will be charged and collected by your hotel and is payable in cash only. We regret that we are currently unable to collect this tax in advance or include it in your price for customers who are traveling independently or who arrange independent pre or post-tour stays on an escorted tour. This tax is included in the tour price for customers who are traveling on an escorted tour accompanied by a Tour Manager who is able to pay directly to the hotel on your behalf. Please note that our hotel ratings may differ from official star ratings which determine the tax level.
Baveno City Tax
The authorities of Baveno apply a city tax on all hotels, which is charged and collected by your hotel and payable in cash only. The tax requires a contribution of 2.00 Euros per person per night for 4 star hotels, and 1.30 Euros per person per night for 3-star hotels. We regret that we are currently unable to collect this tax in advance or include it in your price for customers who are traveling independently, or who arrange independent pre or post-tour stays on an escorted tour. This tax is included in the tour price for customers who are traveling on an escorted tour accompanied by a Tour Manager who is able to pay directly to the hotel on your behalf. Catania City Tax
The authorities of Catania apply a city tax on all hotels. The tax requires a contribution of 2.50 Euros per person per night for 5 star hotels, 1.50 Euros per person per night for 4 star and 3 star hotels up to a maximum of 3 nights. It will be charged and collected by your hotel. Gate 1 regrets that we are currently unable to collect this tax in advance or include it in your price. Como City Tax
The authorities of Como apply a city tax on all hotels which is charged and collected by your hotel. The tax is up to 0.75 Euro per person per night for 1 star hotels, 1.00 Euro per person per night for 2 star hotels, 2.00 Euros per person per night for 3 star hotels and 2.50 Euros per person per night for 4 and 5 star hotels. Children under 14 are exempt from this charge. The authorities of Florence have introduced a city tax on all hotels. The tax 6.00 Euros per person per night for 3 star hotels, 7.00 Euros per person per night for 4 star hotels and 8.00 Euros per person per night in 5 star hotels. Giardini Naxos City Tax
The authorities of Giardini Naxos apply a city tax on all hotels which is charged and collected by your hotel. The tax is 2.00 Euros per person per night. The tax requires a contribution of 5.00 Euros per person per per night for 4 star hotels and 4.00 Euros per person per night for 3 star hotels. It will be charged and collected by your hotel. Montecatini City Tax
The authorities of Montecatini Terme have introduced a city tax on all hotels. The tax requires a contribution of 1.00 Euro per person per night for 3 star hotels, 1.40 Euros per person per night for 4 star hotels and 1.70 Euros per person per night for 5 star hotels up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Naples City Tax
The authorities of Naples have introduced a city tax on all hotels. The tax requires a contribution of Euro 2.50 per person per night for a 3 star hotel, Euro 3.50 per person per night for a 4 star hotel and Euro 4.50 per person per night for a 5 star hotel up to a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. It will be charged and collected by your hotel.
