Our trip was great and very exciting. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was well planned and entertaining. Our Tour Manager Aaron did a wonderful job and certainly trip exceeded my expectations. The experience from the beginning with you helping with the bookings and valuable advises then help with the air bookings and rest Tour Manager Aaron made whole trip like a dream. She was a blessing, excellent in every way, highly professional, knowledgeable, fun, had a great personality, caring and a wonderful sense of humor. Just completed a Canadian Rockies tour on July 17. The trip was wonderful. I would like to highly recommend our tour guide Chris and bus driver Binnnel. Everything about the tour was smooth as silk. Chris has exceptional knowledge about the Rockies and the history that goes with it...not to mention his uplifting personality that just blended everyone in our group to make the perfect tour. This has been my 4th Gate 1 tour and will certainly consider another one in the future.

My travel partner and I both want to give the highest compliments to our tour guide in Canada, Jeff. His extensive knowledge, personal experiences and love of the area of Canada we traveled through made the trip exemplary! He was always positive, had a great sense of humor and played fun videos, song play lists and games during some of the few long bus days. He even provided fruit, vegies and Canadian maple cookies for a lovely picnic by a lakeside park on the way to Kamloops. This was my 3rd Gate1 tour and the guides have all been awesome. However, Jeff was above and beyond the others!

Gary is the best tour manager we have ever had - he made our travel very enjoyable and easy. We had four hotels on the road and his organization and distribution of room keys and getting everyone oriented was smooth. We knew what to expect at our stops along the Canadian Rockies, he planned ahead if we needed to grab lunch so that we could see and experience another magnificent view, making the most of our time. His stories and pride in Canada made us feel at home. His laughter and joy of travel was infectious and made everyone relax and enjoy our time together. Gary is a treasure!!

We had a wonderful time on our 8 Day National Parks of Canada with Lake Louise trip last week. We have not stopped talking about it. We saw so many places that we would not have found on our own. We enjoyed everything, but our favorite was the excursion on the Ice Explorer onto the surface of the massive Athabasca Glacier where we got out and walked on the ice. Glad that we brought some cold weather clothing! We loved the quaint Alpine town of Jasper where we enjoyed a Greek meal for lunch at a local restaurant. Our Tour Director, Tina, was amazing. She kept our group on track, told us the history of all the places we were going and made sure everything went smoothly. Our bus driver, Binil, was so friendly. He drove our bus in a very safe manner and always extended a hand as we exited the bus. This is sure to be a trip we will always remember.

I would like to make sure that Gate1 is aware of lucky they are to have Laura as one of their guides. She was absolutely incredible. I have never, and probably will never have another guide that was as tremendous as she was. She brilliantly answered every question, made everyone in the group feel safe, and our pick up times, locations, etc we're all so perfectly clear. SHE was a highlight of the trip to be honest. I had a fantastic and life changing time. Fell in love with Canada and can't wait to come back! Thank you!

We had a great time on this trip. It was refreshing to get away from the Texas heat and see all the beautiful flowers. It was suppose to rain most days and it only sprinkled one day in Quebec. Our guide Laura and bus driver Betty were a great team. They were organized, on top of things and were generous with their help and their snacks. They smiled a lot and had a positive attitude. I loved the richness of Canada's history and loved the outdoor cafes. I learned a lot of new things about Canada and was reminded of things I already knew. The local guides were great, especially Ottawa, Quebec, and Montreal. The meals provided by Gate 1 were above average and good choices for everyone. We even got to indulge our hockey fantasy because our hotel was hosting the draft. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who has not been to Eastern Canada or for someone who wants a taste of Europe without crossing the ocean. By the way we had no airport issues.

My husband and I recently returned from a 9-day Canadian Rockies tour with 36 other state-side folks and our fabulous Tour Manager, Micky. At our first night group meeting, we looked like a motley crew and I thought there was never going to be connection or cohesion. Over 8 days, Micky herded us kittens into a wholly unified, fun, chatty, and synced group through his seat rotations on the bus, tall (and small) tales, personal time with each guest, and his knowledge of his beloved Canada. Another complementary component was our Golden Arrow coach driver, Kong, who along with Micky, was amenable to scenic detours, had great stories, and knew us by name and luggage by Day 2. On the last day of the tour, my husband and I ate breakfast with Kong and we learned that this was the first time he and Micky had worked together. Kong told me that he loved working with Micky because Micky put his guests' needs above his own and Kong said that always made for a great tour. We loved our first Gate1 tour and hope to become regulars once we retire. Thank you for providing wonderful personnel, great accommodations, and delicious meals so we could enjoy Mother Nature's beauty and bounty.

We had a great time; Gate 1 Travel came through for us again. Our guide Francis was the best, he is a credit to his profession. He was very personable, knowledgeable and took care of all the small details. He made the long bus trips pleasurable, entertaining and informative. He provided us with perfectly timed breaks, special treats and stops to show us breathtaking views. The hotels we stayed in were very nice. This is something Gate 1 could have easily cut corners on to save money, but you did exactly the opposite and put us up in first class hotels that were situated in the heart of the cities we visited. I was a little concerned living in and out of a suitcase and staying only 2 days in 4 different cities, but that also turned out well and gave us a good taste of each city we visited. We will come back to Gate 1 Travel for any future vacations.

This trip was an amazing experience for us. It has been a while since our last trip due to the Pandemic, but this Kaleidoscope trip to Guatemala and Honduras Mayan sites were both spectacular and the small towns we visited were the icing on the cake. Our guide and driver, Estuardo and Manuel, were a superb team who made the trip wonderful and fun as well as safe and together we built memories that will last a lifetime. We would like to recognize both for their commitment to everyone in the trip and their attention to the smallest of details that made the traveling and hotel transitions go very smooth. I would highly recommend this tour to Gate 1 to everyone who wants to relax, learn about new cultures, and enjoy a wonderful gastronomy and the colorful people of Guatemala.

So nice to be "on the road again" after the Covid shut down. Had a great time on our recent early September tour of the Canadian Maritime Provinces. Excellent work by our tour guide Julia and Bus Driver Steve made the tour very memorable. Julia assisted with the additional Covid testing requirements and made the processes as painless as possible. So many places we visited were thrilled to have American bus tours operating again. The people were all so welcoming and gracious. The scenery, food, drinks and Hotel accommodations were beyond expectations. For anyone thinking of traveling again, we highly recommend this tour. We have another Gate 1 Tour scheduled next month and can't wait.

Great coach tour, very organized with plenty of attractions. Tom was the best tour guide we have experienced. Your Company will find it hard to replace him! Betty is an excellent driver, often in difficult little streets to navigate as well. Always with a friendly manner, she is good fun. Hotels all good, great locations & amenities.

Trip was very good. All accommodations were comfortable and offered good amenities. Tour bus was luxurious. Driver Patrick was flawless. Tour guide Andrea was awesome. She had covered and explained in great details about points to see, joking at many occasions. Waterton, Banff and Jasper were all worth visiting. Wish had more time to see city of Calgary. Weather was generally cooperative except on two occasions it rained. Will recommend to anyone without hesitation.

The trip was very nice and covered a lot of places. Our guide Sandra and driver Betty were terrific. Did above and beyond. Little surprise tastings every day on the bus. The transfers went smoothly and the hotel locations were really handy to everything. I was traveling alone and felt included. This was my first experience with Gate 1. My friend and I have booked a trip next year with you folks to Southeast Asia. I hope that trip is as good as this one was!

Our trip was fantastic!!! Andrea is the best!!! We have been in several Gate 1 tours... and Andrea is the BEST! She made the Canadian Rockies come alive!!!

This trip was great, Gary was so great, humorous and knowledgeable. We didn’t know what to expect but we’re still in awe of the experience. From our arrival to departure not a flaw or problem. Schedule was great as well as pace. Lake Louise was beautiful as expected, but other lakes were another nice surprise. Gary took us to some nice side scenery. All travelers (23) was a good number and group.

We enjoyed the trip very much. The tour leader, Kathryn was wonderful, and fun to be with. The bus driver, Darren, was excellent, kept the bus immaculate, and was very personable. We loved seeing all the special sights in Newfoundland/ Labrador and the boat trips to see icebergs, Puffins and whales. Thank you for your help Gate 1.

The trip was great with only 16 people in the group. The tour director Tony was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on Mayan civilization. Also the tour guide in Copan, Honduras was very good. We were lucky with weather and accommodation was good. Overall we like the tour and would recommend our friends and relatives to take this trip with Gate 1.

The trip was GREAT. The tour guide "Tony" was very knowledgeable and really cared about us. We had a good group of people. The hotels, food, sightseeing was all wonderful.

Our guide Tony was wonderful and knowledgeable. Tony explained the history of each and every place we visited and was able to answer everyone's questions and concerns. I thought the hotels chosen were the best and the restaurants were excellent. Restaurant service was excellent and the food was delicious. Guatemala-Honduras were never on my bucket list. I am very happy I chose to visit there. I made a great choice. Thank you Gate 1 for another great tour!

My trip to Quebec City was absolutely excellent. I really enjoyed every aspect of the trip: The booking process was smooth, efficient, accessible for questions, and the website was easy to navigate. Our Tour Manager, Francis, was just great- very helpful, organized, nice that he was based at the hotel.. all around great person. The bus tour guide, Francois - his commentary was really excellent and so interesting! I give him 20 out of 10! He is also an excellent driver. I learned so much about Canada. Thank you, I will use Gate 1 again and will recommend it to friends.

Our trip to the Maritime Regional of Canada gave us a new respect for the vastness and beauty of this area. Our Tour Manager Sandra and Bus Driver Roy were fantastic and provided great insight into the culture and traditions of this area and went out of their way to get the Tour Group to experience them. The accommodations provided exceeded our expectations, the food was excellent and the scenery breathtaking. The people of this area of Canada were delightful, friendly and very engaging as were the members of our Tour Group. Once again Gate 1 delivered on a great tour of Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island.

We had a fantastic trip! It was our first time traveling with Gate1, and my husband’s first time on a bus excursion ... The trip was well organized, and our guide, Micky, did a great job. He added a personal touch and some humour that made the trip enjoyable. Also, our driver Paul was friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver. The scenery was beyond words, and the accommodations were top notch. We enjoyed every minute of every day. I’m sure we will travel with Gate1 in the future.

Our trip to the Canadian Rockies was excellent! This was our first trip with Gate 1, and we were thoroughly impressed with the itinerary, service, accommodations, and especially, with our Tour Guide, Robyn McGregor, and bus driver, Bob Barnes. Everything ran so smoothly and was so well planned - all we had to do with enjoy the trip! We must tell you that both Robyn and Bob really ensured we were able to see and do all we could to experience the Canadian Rockies. We will definitely travel with Gate 1 again, and tell others how great your tour was!

My trip to the Canadian Rockies was terrific! The scenery was spectacular. The tour provided us the perfect combination of structure and free time. Our group really bonded in the short time we were together. The hotels were strategically located in the center of town within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Our tour manager, Robyn, was delightful, both informative and personable. Our bus driver, Andy, was excellent, expertly maneuvering turns and gliding along the highway. Robyn and Andy enjoyed a nice camaraderie, which made the trip very enjoyable.

Very nice! We had a good time and learned a lot about Mayan civilization. Our tour guide Sergio was very knowledgeable and friendly. The size of 16 people was ideal for visiting Guatemala.

The trip was great! The combination of a plush hotel and a historic one was was special. I learned so much on the excursions. The guide, Sergio Garcia was really special. He greeted us with a welcoming smile that one would expect from a close friend or special family member, and he was especially helpful with our problems.

The trip was fantastic! Sergio was awesome, the sites were everything I've read about in books, and the logistics were spot on as usual. My sister and I enjoyed everything we saw especially Tikal and Lake Atitlan. The Guatemalan people were warm and we truly felt their love for the Mayan heritage and history. Another great trip! Why we always go with Gate 1.

Wonderful!!!!! The tour guide and coach driver went beyond their job description and since the group was so small (14), we had a chance to get to know each other. The people were fantastic and I am so glad that Gate 1 didn't cancel the tour.

I had a wonderful time during my trip. It was sunny most of the time, Accommodations were very good and our tour manager Estuardo was excellent. We had equal time of touring and time to explore on our own or just to rest.

We had a wonderful trip, thank you! We loved seeing the ruins of Tikal and the market of Chichicastenango. Our hotel in Guatemala City was terrific and the hotel in Chichicastenango was unique. We enjoyed them both. We had a wonderful small group of 10 to travel with and enjoyed every minute.

Guatemala and Honduras trip exceeded our expectation. Our tour manager Marco Antonio Garrido worked very hard to make sure that everything was perfect. We truly enjoyed every minute of it.

What a fantastic trip! Scott Robertson was by far the best guide ever! He and his wonderful driver, Betty worked so hard to take care of us - all kinds of little treats, etc. They even went so far as to find a restaurant for Canadian Thanksgiving after our boat cruise was cancelled. The sights and sounds were terrific. The meals we had were really delicious. As usual Gate 1 was outstanding.
