Saturday, Feb 14 Krewe of Endymion 4:00 PM City Park & Orleans → Carrollton → Canal → St. Charles → Harmony Circle → Howard → Loyola → Girod → Ends at Caesars Superdome Super-krewe with celebrity guests and massive floats. Ends with the Endymion Extravaganza party.

Monday, Feb 16 Krewe of Proteus 5:15 PM Napoleon & Magazine → St. Charles → Lee Circle → Canal → Ends at Chartres Founded in 1882. Second-oldest krewe. Classic mythological themes with antique float chassis.
Monday, Feb 16 Krewe of Orpheus 6:00 PM Napoleon & Tchoupitoulas → Napoleon → St. Charles → Lee Circle → Canal → Tchoupitoulas → Julia → Convention Center Blvd → Ends at Henderson Co-founded by Harry Connick Jr. Known for elaborate, lighted floats and the Orpheuscapade party.

Safety

  • Throwing items back at floats is illegal — $250 fine
  • Avoid sanitation crews and their equipment after parades
