The Deal
Begin with a tour of historic Boston at the Old North Church, the city’s oldest church building, and pass by the Massachusetts State House and the State Capitol. On to Boston Commons, the starting point of the "Freedom Trail," and the oldest park in the country, then visit Plymouth Rock at Pilgrim Memorial State Park, the traditional site of disembarkation of the Mayflower Pilgrims. Depart for a scenic drive to Cape Cod and the seaside city of Hyannis, where you will enjoy a day at leisure. Stroll around the "All-American City" or join the optional tour to Martha’s Vineyard. From Cape Cod travel to the Berkshires, renowned for its beautiful landscapes and the finest recreational attractions in the area.
Take in the postcard-perfect scenery as you travel through the villages and countryside of Vermont. Stop at Quechee Gorge for breathtaking views of Vermont’s deepest gorge, formed by glacial activity over 13,000 years ago, then arrive in Woodstock, one of the prettiest towns in America, famous for the architecture of many of its houses and churches. Head to idyllic Stowe, a wonderful eclectic village, backed by Vermont's highest peak, Mt. Mansfield. Tour the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, one of the top producers of fresh apple cider in all of New England, and see how cider is made the old-fashioned way. Then, on to the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream factory for a tour giving you the opportunity to learn about the production process and hear how the company was started by two childhood friends.
Continue through Montpelier, the nation's smallest capital city, to Littleton, New Hampshire, before arriving in North Conway. Enjoy the day at leisure or perhaps join the optional tour to ride the World's First Mountain Climbing Train to the Top of Mount Washington, the highest peak in New England Depart the White Mountains for coastal Kennebunkport, where you will visit the Seashore Trolley Museum, the world's oldest and largest museum of mass transit vehicles.
