Our trip was wonderful! We did and saw so much that I want to go back now to just relax! Our guide, Arjan, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He kept everyone upbeat. We added four additional activities, which were all amazing. We will travel again with Gate 1 in the future.

Our trip to Europe was wonderful! Our tour manager, Nicholas, is an amazing person; his history/geography knowledge and customer service was beyond expectation. Very well organized tours, we sure will travel with Gate 1 again.

Our 10 day Classic tour was a family trip arranged to celebrate our granddaughter’s high school graduation ... All arrangements throughout the trip were seamless. Each city tour allowed time for photo opps and the optional excursions were well worth the price. Hotels were great, especially the Apollo in Amsterdam ... Our guide, Anita van Vliet, was amazing ... She handled unanticipated problems efficiently and always showed concern for the welfare of her clients ... Her professionalism and knowledge was obvious. Our bus driver, Moe, should also be acknowledged for his professionalism and generosity. He went above and beyond when a member of the group left a passport in a hotel safe. Gate 1 is very affordable, yet first class in so many ways, and I would not hesitate to recommend Gate 1 to anyone ... Thanks for everything!

In one word I would have to describe our excursion as, "exquisite."... We enjoyed learning about the history of important landmarks, relics, and culture of each country we toured. We were extremely pleased with the location of each hotel in proximity to various landmarks, shopping centers and restaurants ... Furthermore our tour manager Mr. Arjan, along with our tour guides, poured their heart into disseminating facts about the history of each country ... This was our very first Gate 1 travel tour and I can't wait to replicate our experience from being on the London to Amsterdam tour in the near future. We can't stop talking about our experience with friends and family.

Our first trip with Gate 1 was absolutely amazing! It was our first trip to Europe ... We are extremely grateful for our most excellent tour guide, Romain. He was very professional and took great care of our needs and tour logistics. In fact, would love to do another tour with him as our guide. We had the best ground transfer crews and local guides. Our trip was great! Adorom, our tour director, was very professional and knowledgeable and made our trip exciting, comfortable and flawless. This was our first trip with Gate 1 and my wife and I were very pleased.

The trip was wonderful! We had perfect weather so the sailing was smooth. The tulips were in full bloom! Pictures cannot do the colors justice. The cruise director, Jean-Pierre, and the activities director, Nadhem, were great and kept us moving and on schedule...The captain and crew couldn't do enough and were friendly and approachable- including the captain. It was nice to be on a small ship. It felt very intimate. We were able to meet most of the passengers on board and made several friends we will continue to communicate with. We will recommend river cruising and Gate 1 Travel to everyone we know!

It was our first ever river cruise. It exceeded our expectations. The crew was very friendly and always smiling, keep up the good work. The boat was very clean, yet you never saw them working; food outstanding and so many choices. We met some of the nicest guests and hope to become friends. Overall keep up the excellent work!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our honeymoon. I also want to add that our tour manager, Wesley, was amazing! He honestly made the trip for us with his organization, knowledge of the areas, humor, and overall willingness to do what needed to be done to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves. Our experience has us sold on taking another trip with Gate1 in the future.

It was another great trip. Gate 1 does an amazing job on all counts. This was a river cruise to see tulips, but the old cities were the hit for me. The cruise guide did a wonderful job and was with us on all tours. The activity director was lots of fun, and he, too, was with us on all tours.

Our trip could not have been any better. From landing in Amsterdam to the time we left Paris we were treated like royalty. Our tour director, Adaram was amazing! We felt so lucky to have him leading our way through Europe. He is extremely knowledgeable and a total class act. He’s a true All Pro. Pasquel, our driver falls in the same category. We felt safe and taken care of beyond our expectations. Those two work together so well. It’s really tough to find people of their caliber. I also wanted to mention our tour guide at Versailles, Nicklaus, was by far the best tour guide I have ever been around. That guy is very interesting and entertaining. My trip was complete after experiencing Versailles under his leadership. I really was impressed with GATE 1. This is a first class operation and I will continue to spread the word!!!

The trip from Amsterdam to London was perfectly paced, and quite enjoyable. Loved every moment! Ever charmed by Bruges and Paris, shear delights. Even a rainy London proved invigoratingly stimulating. A delightful excursion.

We enjoyed our trip and thoroughly enjoyed our tour guide, Aryn. His command of English and other languages is amazing. I so enjoyed his cultural and historical commentaries during the bus rides and walking tours. Everything was organized and professional. The food and accommodations were very good. Our fellow tour members had positive and friendly attitudes and I think that is typical of Gate 1 type travelers, perhaps more down to earth than the luxury crowd. We hope to travel with you again in the future.

The trip was jammed-packed with activities! It would have been nice to have a few more days to soak it all in. The weather was not the best either, cold and rainy all week. But the cities were beautiful and the tour guide was great.

Absolutely perfect! Our tour guide, Farid, was well-organized, informative, nice sense of humor- and easy to understand. Also, our local guide, Nicholas in Paris. I am amazed at how well the bus driver Cary maneuvers through the small streets. This was my third trip with Gate 1 and once again I am pleased with accommodations, food and travel.

The trip exceeded my expectations. I have a friend who recommended Gate 1, so I had high expectations going in to it. So to exceed them was extraordinary. The hotels were great, the food was fantastic, & the tours were perfect. The local guides were awesome, telling us things about the city we would have never known otherwise, just wandering around by ourselves. The mix between planned & free time was perfect. I didn't feel as if things were too "jam packed" into the day to enjoy it. Our bus driver, Peter, was impressive. He could turn the bus on a dime. We never once felt unsafe anywhere he drove us. Plus, he was such a nice guy. As far as tour directors go, Marc was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about him. He's smart, funny, charismatic, personable, easy-going...everything you could want in a tour guide/director, & more. He talked highly of the company, & how much he loved working for Gate 1. He was always there with a suggestion on where to eat, what to see, what to visit. He was open about himself, & his life. He didn't mind when we asked questions, & was always willing to answer them. I was impressed by his intelligence, the things he knew about each country &/or city, & the fact that he remembered everyone's name so quickly. (I had the pleasure of meeting him at check-in, & he remembered my name at drinks.) I could go on forever about him, he is that good. Thank you for making my first trip to Europe memorable. This will not be my last trip, to Europe, or with Gate 1. (B/c i really want to explore Belgium more!)

Fantastic! It was everything we hoped for, and more. Everything went smoothly, and the tour arrangements, sights, and guide were all excellent. Definitely a trip of a lifetime for our family.

This was the best vacation my husband and I ever had! Farid was a great guide, we never had to worry about anything. The quality of the food, accommodations, tours, and logistics was outstanding. We truly feel the value we received was worth five times more than what we paid. This was our first Gate 1 trip but won't be our last. We wish we could go on another one right now. The trip was great. Everything, all the details, were so well organized I didn't even mind all the rain! A little nervous about traveling solo, but that was not an issue at all. I felt very safe and secure during the entire trip. My thanks to Robert the main tour guide, the motor-coach driver, and the local tour guide in Paris. I prefer the 5-7 day trips so this itinerary worked quite well for me. Thanks for great memories and a bunch of new friends.

The trip was wonderful. The tour was organized perfectly, and the accommodations were very good. What makes the trip enjoyable is Mr. Naciri, whose knowledge of the places visited was impeccable, and his friendly helpful and joyous nature puts everyone at ease. Mr. Naciri is your hidden gem. Overall, I would recommend Gate 1 to all my friends and we will likely sign on with Gate 1 for our next trip. We had a wonderful time.

Our trip was so much fun! Tour guides were very knowledgeable. We especially liked our tour guides in London and in Versailles, very witty and animated.
