Our trip through Brazil and Argentina was an unforgettable experience filled with breathtaking scenery, vibrant culture, and wonderful memories. Rio de Janeiro was absolutely spectacular, from the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue to the beautiful beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. The energy, music, and scenery of Rio made it one of the highlights of our journey. Iguazu Falls was truly awe-inspiring and exceeded every expectation. Seeing the falls from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides allowed us to fully appreciate the incredible beauty and power of this natural wonder. It was easily one of the most remarkable places we have ever visited. Buenos Aires provided the perfect finale to our trip with its elegant architecture, rich history, lively tango culture, and amazing food. The city's charm and atmosphere made every moment enjoyable. A special thank you goes to our outstanding tour manager, Fede, whose professionalism, organization, and warm personality made the trip seamless and stress-free. What truly set this experience apart was the effort made to introduce us to authentic local dining spots outside of the scheduled itinerary. These hidden gems gave us the opportunity to experience the true flavors and culture of both countries in a way that typical tourists often miss. The extra care, local knowledge, and attention to detail made this tour exceptionally memorable. We highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience the beauty, culture, and hospitality of Brazil and Argentina.

I had a nice time. The city is beautiful. I enjoyed the tours especially Uruguay, the cattle ranch and the food tour of Palermo. Pablo was the best tour guide you could ask for. He was professional, informative and has a great sense of humor.

We just returned from a beautiful trip through Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, and Buenos Aires. Gate1's organization was excellent, and Flavio was an exceptional tour manager. His expertise, positive energy, and attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly and created an enjoyable experience for everyone. He went above and beyond by organizing special extras, including a fun Caipirinha evening with live music on Copacabana, and he always gave us excellent recommendations for dinners and activities in each location. Our local guides, Carlos in Rio and Romina at Iguazu Falls, were excellent and very knowledgeable, and they truly brought each place to life. It was an unforgettable trip, and we made wonderful memories!

Recently my husband and I together with our friends took a 10 days Argentina & Brazil trip. To say that it was a wonderful trip, not to say anything. Our tour manager was Alehandro. He is absolutely great at what he does- knowledgeable, thoughtful, helpful in every way. We are so happy to have him as a tour manager.

The trip was amazing. Very well organized. The accommodations were beyond expectations and much appreciated. The Tour Manager , Pauolo was exceptional. Very professional and knowledgeable , friendly and well spoken English. The local guides were very good too: Cecilia and Ashe . We enjoyed it a lot and we recommend Gate 1 to anyone interested to take an organized tour. We well use Gate 1 for our next trip for sure.

From the very beginning, Federico was exceptionally organized, ensuring every detail was handled seamlessly so we could fully relax and enjoy the journey. His communication was clear, timely, and always thoughtful, which made navigating each day effortless. What stood out most was Federico's genuine care for the group. He went above and beyond to ensure our safety, accommodate individual needs, offer helpful recommendations, and create a warm, inclusive atmosphere. There was an excellent sense of harmony within the group, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. This positive dynamic didn't happen by chance-it was clearly a reflection of the tour manager's ability to bring people together, create a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure everyone felt included and comfortable. His leadership fostered a great balance of fun, respect, and connection among all travelers, making the journey feel cohesive and genuinely special. His deep knowledge of each destination added so much richness to the experience, turning every stop into something meaningful rather than just another item on the itinerary. Federico even took us on walking tours in each new location so we would become more familiarized and also made all of us maps all with his personal recommendations for food and activities for leisure time! Federico also handled unexpected situations such as the unpredicted Patagonian weather with calm professionalism and efficiency, which gave everyone a sense of confidence and ease throughout the trip. Overall, Federico's passion, attentiveness, and dedication made this vacation unforgettable. We would gladly travel with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a well-managed and memorable experience!!

Best trip ever. Patagonia is beautiful. Enjoyed the Skorpios cruise immensely. Service & meals were great. Our tour guide Wladimir went above & beyond for us, also the best. Drivers and coach transport the best too.

Marcelo was our local guide in Chile Pantogonia and also accompanied us to El Calafate. He was not only very knowledgeable in history, geography, nature and astronomy. He also worked hard and is very passionate about his job. He never got tired to explain to us the wonders of Pantogonia. He let us feel his love and wonder of the land and we experienced the same through his sharing. He told us to look at the beautiful stars at night and we were so glad we did so. We were able to find Alpha and Beta Centauri which lead to the Southern Cross and the Cross point to the direction of the South Pole.

The tour was great. Virginia, our tour guide was awesome. She made our tour an unforgettable experience. As always, Gate1 Travel tour was perfect and left us with many beautiful memories.

Santi was an exceptional guide on our 17-day Chile, Argentina, and Brazil trip featuring Patagonia's glaciers. From start to finish, he made everything feel smooth, organized, and stress-free. His communication was excellent. He shared his WhatsApp number on day one so we could reach him anytime with questions or concerns, which was incredibly comforting and helpful throughout the trip.

I have been on 22 trips with Gate 1. This is by far what is my favorite trip. I believe the excellent rating that I gave this trip in large part was due to our tour manager, Nacho. I feel you have a real gem with Nacho. He is the most competent tour guide I have ever been with on any of my past trips. I just wanted to give credit where credit is due. Thanks for such a great trip.

The Antarctica trip surpassed my expectations. It was astounding. The HX Expeditions crew was amazing and the ship was gorgeous, but the true star was our tour manager Nacho. He made everything so easy and provided extra information about what we saw each day. One of the best of my 17 trips with Gate 1! I can't stop talking about it.

Wanted to let Gate 1 know that Alex was the best tour guide yet on any of my Gate 1 trips. He could manage the group, tell jokes and remember specific requests of each traveler and follow up on them all the same time and with the greatest of ease. He was amazing.

Our tour guide Alex was beyond excellent. He helped and offered great suggestions for leisure time and restaurants and was spot on! His positive attitude made for a cohesive group, Familia where everyone knew each other and shared pictures and information! It was a wonderful experience. I understand our group tried a couple of new excursions. The Maripuche experience and lunch was outstanding! The family brewery in Bariloche was eclectic and very fun. Alex's contacts with all the guides made for a once in a lifetime experience all so knowledgeable and excited to share. I can't say enough about Alex's enthusiasm! His excitement was contagious!!!

Our trip was incredible! We were blessed with great weather. Our tour manager, Sole, was exceptional! She kept us informed each day about our schedules and full of surprises while maintaining our safety. She was warm, calm, professional while creating harmony within our group. Safe drivers, great local guides added to this amazing tour. Kudos to the wonderful staff on the Stella Australis ship! We couldn't have asked for a better team of professionals throughout this adventure.

I just completed a trip to Santiago, Chile, Mendoza and Buenos Aires. Matias was our tour manager. I have completed several tours with Gate 1 and I wanted you to know that Matias is OUTSTANDING!!! Lots of laughs and fun were had by all. Our group experience was amazing and I can truly say this was mostly due to Matias charming, warm and caring personality. I wish all of my trips were with him! We had a GREAT time!

I have been on 8-10 Gate 1 trips and Andrea is by far the best tour manager I have ever had. She was funny, interesting, knowledgeable, efficient and thoughtful. She checked all the boxes of what you look for in your tour guides and then some. She deserves a raise or a bonus for being superior!

Virgina was our guide for the 14 day Patagonia tour. She was EXCELLENT. Virginia kept us well informed, had great humor and made our trip one to remember for all of us. This our second tour with Gate 1 and we will continue to tour with Gate 1. Virgina represents the very best in tour Managers. Gate 1 is very lucky to have her.

We had a trip of a lifetime! Not only an awesome Antarctic cruise, but also the BEST tour manager, Paola! The information she provided added tremendous value and greatly enhanced our travel experience. Thank you Gate1 for yet another great trip!

Trains, planes, buses, trams, cable cars, catamarans, ferries, multiple airports, horse carriages, mountains, volcanoes, beaches, jungles, rain forests, waterfalls, lakes, horses, loong walks, hikes, thousands of steps, absolutely great weather, strange border crossings, great food and hotels, AND, one of the best tour guides ever!!! Sol was the dynamic glue that helped this very large group work. She is friendly, approachable, professional and set very clear and strong expectations from the very first minute. She handle the enormity of the task with ease. We had a multitude of transfers and flights and logistics to get through and she made it happen without glitches. Gate One has a true gem in Sol. Take care of her!!! I returned home exhausted but elated and how much ground we covered and how much of this beautiful earth we were able to see.

Our trip to Chile and Argentina was truly stellar! Our Tour Manager Lucas really stands out in his friendliness, knowledge and commitment to providing us with an outstanding travel experience. The itinerary was filled with variety and so many opportunities to learn and enjoy many beautiful places and people. It was so interesting to go by bus across the Andes, very inspiring land. The wineries and food were wonderful and we so enjoyed ChaCha the lady who taught us to make empanadas, and also the wine blending competition for our group. The tango show, music and dinner were outstanding in Buenos Aires.

A more than excellent adventure - I am still reminiscing on the joy this trip brought everyone. Marina is A MORE THAN EXCELLENT tour manager - - she did everything plus more. I recall immediately upon checking into the hotel getting a phone call asking if we were ok and ready for the orientation meeting. Marina is friendly, funny, organized and if/when I go to Antarctica I hope she is the tour manager as well. She is able to multi-task, ensure those who are not as active and those super active maximize their vacation. She helps everyone including food servers, crew on the boat, directing traffic at the airport etc etc. We could not have asked for more. THANK YOU to Marina for making this vacation the best - - it definitely ranks in the top 2. Please share this with her as well!

The trip was amazing! Everything was so well planned out, and we participated in wonderful activities. I had not never thought about traveling to Chile before, but we did back-to-back Antarctica and Chile tours. I loved Chile! Santiago was a great town to visit, but the real thrill was visiting Patagonia. We loved our two nights in Torres Del Paine. Someone said that the tour next year will not be at this park and will bus in. I think that is a big mistake as those two nights were so peaceful and wonderful, enjoying all that nature. The cruise was also fantastic! I loved everything about the boat and our excursions there. Great Staff! The other thing that made the trip so wonderful was our amazing tour guide Cristobal. He was so much fun, so informative, and so helpful. He really was the cherry on top to a wonderful trip.

It was a wonderful journey. We spent 33 days altogether. From Amazon jungle to Machu Picchu, from Rio to Iguazú Falls, from Buenos Aires to Easter Island, and with São Paulo between the two tours. So many scenic places, so many attractions and so many stories with friendly tour mates from across the States. A bit tired but very excited. All I can say is your introduction and Gate 1's programme and organising. We took 12 flights across the South America continent and return flights from Sydney to Santiago. Thank you so much for your great effort to make this journey possible.

This was our first trip with Gate 1. It was an excellent experience. We particularly wanted to say how much we enjoyed having Maxi as our guide. We travelled a lot and he was outstanding. We appreciated all the small things that he did above and beyond to enhance our trip, such as showing us how to make mates and explaining the culture around that tradition. Also, he was great at providing suggestions for things to do and restaurants that we really enjoyed. He has a good feeling for the individuals in the group.

Well, just wow! What a fantastic 2-week journey to the end of the world... The Glaciers and waterfalls, penguins, zodiac rides, mountains, hotels, all just fabulous. I was especially fond of the Hotel Las Torres. The hikes were challenging enough and scenery extraordinary. The ship and expedition crew were all professional, knowledgeable and very helpful to the guests. My room on the ship was so comfortable, clean and pristine with a wall-to-ceiling window. I was the only one from G1 to go on a particularly challenging hike and I completed it. It was truly amazing. You certainly won't go hungry on the cruise. I met lots of wonderful folks on the ship from other tour groups and travelers on their own. We also had the best tour manager, Lucas! He was warm, funny, a wealth of knowledge and very helpful. He was attentive to his group. He made sure everyone got what they needed, liked their food choices, made special accommodations for those who needed them. Treated everyone well. This trip was in the top 5 of my many, many G1 trips!!

Out of the several trips I have taken with Gate, the Patagonia trip was the best I have had, a trip of a lifetime to remember. The hotels, food and accommodation were excellent, especially since I am vegetarian, I was a bit skeptical about being able to eat healthily, but it was made easy by your company. I want to send out a special shout out to our guide, Pablo, who made the trip even more memorable. His care in looking after us, his efficiency in everything he did, was par excellent. He gave the best suggestions for food and sightseeing on the free days we had. His passion and knowledge for his work comes through clearly. Everybody knew him, the local guides, the restaurant we went to, other travel guides, so much so that another Gate 1 group asked him questions too. He made everyone feel comfortable and taken care of. He is an amazing person; I hope others find him as wonderful as we did.

Just completed 13-day Chile and Argentina with Patagonia's Glaciers and enjoyed a fabulous adventure. The vistas of Torres del Paine and The Towers were jaw-dropping and the hikes spectacular. Glacier National Park was far beyond anything we expected. Our Tour Manager Pablo was our Best Ever (this was our 12th Gate 1 trip). He was so fun and genuinely shared his love for the countries and expertise about how to fully enjoy ourselves and experience the cultures.

People had said that traveling to Antarctica would be the trip of a lifetime. That doesn't even begin to cover it. It was remarkable in every way. I would especially like to compliment our tour manager Ricardo (there for our every need and incredibly understanding and knowledgeable) and HX. When the Argentinian airports were on strike the day we were to fly to Buenos Aires on our way home, Ricardo worked tirelessly to resolve the situation for us. As for HX, we took the Gate 1 trip including a Hurtigruten cruise up the coast of Norway several years ago and were very impressed with the company. The experience on the Roald Amundsen exceeded that. I encourage you to continue your partnership with these companies.

Nacho was an amazing tour director. He is passionate about and loves his job. He took great care of every detail of our trip to ensure our safety and that we were all happy. He promoted group harmony (familia) and cohesiveness, and it was excellent. Nacho is extremely knowledgeable about each site we visited. It's Nacho who makes me want to book another Gate1 trip. I wish he could be my tour manager on every trip. Gate 1 is very lucky to have him.

The trip was Excellent! Paola the tour manager was better than Excellent! She took great care of us throughout the tour and really fostered the group into one big happy family. She was always concerned about making all the tour members feel welcome and ensuring that they enjoyed their tour. I wondered how useful a tour manager would be while on board the ship (We have cruised extensively on our own) but after experiencing what Paola did for us while on the ship I can see a great advantage to having her on the cruise. From daily reminders of meal times, expedition times and interesting programs, to ensuring that the tour members got seats in the lectures, to reserving a group of tables for dinners, to checking on all the tour members at breakfast/lunch, to requesting tea, honey and ginger from the waitstaff for passengers that were suffering from colds. She has a great service mentality and couldn't help not only serving us, but helping other passengers with translation and answering questions. The Grand Recoleta Hotel was very good and HX Expeditions was excellent. Our overall experience was outstanding and we have told several others that if they are interested in Antarctica to check out Gate 1. Especially if they could get Paola as their tour manager.

The trip was amazing! Everything was perfect including the weather. The HX ship and services were outstanding. I am so glad that is the ship that Gate 1 uses. Our guide Paola was OUTSTANDING! She is the best guide I have ever had - kind, patient, super organized, and thorough. And she had a large group - 39 people. Paolo is a treasure and. Gate 1 is lucky to have her. Thanks for giving me the trip of a lifetime!

It was AWESOME! Coni was a great Tour Manager! Everything was exceptionally well managed. It was one of the best tour experiences we have had.

Fantastic- Our guide Chris was one amazing guy , he made this trip wonderful, extremely helpful super humorous and great interpersonal skills, he made this group of strangers into a big family. Because of this experience, we will book our future trips with gate 1 and will refer it to our friends.

My trip was fabulous. The scenery was breathtaking! Marco did a fantastic job as tour manager. The crew aboard the Skorpios was phenomenal. Thank you for another great trip.

It was great! Wonderful memories with new friends we met on the trip. It's the easiest way to travel having others making all the arrangements ahead of time so that we just show up and enjoy.

Our trip to Antarctica and Buenos Aires were great! Veni was a wonderful tour manager and we loved Hurtigruten's Nansen ship. The whole experience was terrific. Well done!

We just finished this 21 day Antarctic Circle cruse . It was wonderful . The Tour Manager Marina was awesome in all possible way. This was our 25th trip and we have not seen a manager that caring and involved in all activities taking care of each and everyone and keeping close eye on all of us . Her knowledge and experience helped us to understand lots of things. She will be an asset to the company.

We had a wonderful trip! Love love the hiking trip to Patagonia, the local hiking guides are all very professional and our TM Albano is just the best.

This was my first time traveling with Gate 1 Travel, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Our tour manager, Jorge, was amazing and truly went above and beyond. He was extremely organized, detail-oriented, and always had a great sense of humor. Managing a large group and keeping everyone on schedule can't be easy, yet Jorge handled it effortlessly - and always with a smile. He consistently put the needs of the group ahead of his own and made sure every detail was taken care of, from boarding passes to smooth transitions throughout the trip. Thanks to Jorge, everything went off without a hitch. I'm so glad I decided to give Gate 1 a try, and I feel confident saying I'm looking forward to many more trips with them in the future. I just hope future tour managers can live up to the high standard Jorge set.

It exceeded my expectations and then some! The Tango Show was spectacular! Our guide, Silvia, was a jewel and she brought it all together. The cruise was so much more than I expected. We had perfect weather which helped, but the crew and staff went above and beyond! I appreciated the drinks being included in the price of the trip. The cabin size was wonderful. I am so excited to get the professional photographer's slideshow presentation and other photos. My photos are unbelievably wonderful. This was the trip of a lifetime!

My trip to Patagonia was one of the best trips I have taken with a group and Alex was one of the best tour directors I have had. The trip was multi-layered. We saw beautiful things, learned and experienced the culture of Chile and Argentina that included food, history, information about different aspects of the countries. Alex was attentive to all of our needs. Thank you for a great trip and look forward to another trip with Gate 1.

Our trip was great! Everything was well organized, the guides were friendly and helpful, and we saw everything we dreamed of seeing in Patagonia.

My wife and I Just completed the 14 Day Patagonia tour, and We had Marina as our Tour-manager. Our Gate1 tour manager for this trip was an absolute gem, going above and beyond to treat our group like royalty with her impeccable organization, infectious enthusiasm, and thoughtful surprises that elevated every moment. Thanks to her, this became one of our most memorable adventures with Gate1-we savored every second and can't wait to book another!

Our tour manager, Flavio, was superb. Choice of hotels & food in Chile was the best. Hotels in Argentina was great but food wasn't as great as in Chile. Everyone was courteous & nice ( tour guides especially Diego & all the drivers)
