One of the reasons we travel with Gate 1 (this was our 16th tour) is the consistent high quality of the tour managers. Eleni, our TM in Greece, was outstanding. Her educational background in Greek archaeology enabled her to give us a perspective on the history that far exceeded our expectations. Some of our fellow travelers suffered medical emergencies, which Eleni handled with professionalism and grace, and without missing a beat on the tour schedule. Her English is excellent, and she is a joy to be around.

I just wanted to send an additional note to emphasize what a valuable asset you have in tour manager AYKUT in Türkiye. He is truly amazing: intelligent, personable, helpful, funny, efficient, engaging. Although visiting Türkiye is itself already a great experience, doing so with the guidance and insights of Aykut made it even much more wonderful and fun.

Aziz, out travel guide for Morocco Discovery, was exceptional. Not only was he patient and kind, his knowledge of the histories and cultures of Morocco, and surrounding countries, was extensive, adding texture, depth, and context to our experience.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Nabil as our tour director during our incredible journey through Tunisia, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. His knowledge was simply outstanding-he brought Morocco's history, traditions, and daily life to life in a way that made every moment more meaningful. Beyond that, he was warm, approachable, and genuinely cared about every person in our group. Said went above and beyond time and time again, handling every situation with professionalism, kindness, and incredible patience-even with some of the more high-maintenance travelers in our group. He made sure everyone felt included, comfortable, and taken care of always. His passion for his culture and his dedication to his guests truly set him apart. Because of Said, this trip wasn't just a vacation-it was an experience we'll never forget.

Had an amazing trip to Greece. Our tour manager, Konstantina, was amazing. I learned so many interesting things about the area. She was engaging, and you could tell she enjoyed what she did. None of her dialogue sounded scripted, which is impressive for someone who does this multiple times. Our coach driver, Nikos, deserves a medal for getting us to and from on crowded streets. This was my first time using Gate 1 Travel, and my husband and I were impressed with how many things we were able to see and experience in 10 days. I will absolutely use Gate 1 Travel in the future for overseas trips.

I have two areas of feedback - Our Tour Manager Yassine was fantastic. He went above and beyond for each one of us to ensure we had a phenomenal time - from sharing his seemingly unlimited knowledge about Morocco to providing us with a seamless, easy logistics experience (an underrated organization & communication skill in my opinion). The Moroccan Allure trip was my 17th trip with Gate 1/Discovery. I really enjoyed exploring Morocco. It's a very beautiful country and the Moroccans are some of the kindest people that I've ever met throughout my travels. The desert stay and sunset camel ride was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. My tour manager Khalid was very good and extremely knowledgeable about Morocco. I felt very fortunate that he was in charge of my tour.

Our trip to Egypt could not have been any better both of the Mohammeds our tour manager and our airport assistant were great at their jobs. Gate 1 Is so lucky to have people such as these working for your company. We felt totally safe in their country and would not hesitate to go there again. This was our 13th Gate 1 trip and i would recommend them to anyone looking for a tour company. Please keep up the good work!!

The Jordan tour far exceeded my expectations. The hotels were amazing, the tours were wonderful, both educational and fun, and the food was delicious. but what made the trip extra special was our tour manager, Hazim. He was so knowledgeable, on top of everything, and had a great sense of humor.

Words cannot express what a unique and wonderful trip I just experienced. What made it memorable was the work of our Tour Manager, Mohammed. His vast expertise and command of Egyptian history, culture, and many other subjects provided me a unique and well received prospective of life in Egypt past, present and future. I thought I knew what the pyramids, temples, life of the pharaohs was all about before I met Mohammed. He educated the group in a friendly manner, adding humor and relevant insight at every turn. His communications skills and his domain of the English language coupled with his great sense of humor enabled the group to always feel at ease and attentive. He has a keen ability to readily identify problems before they become bigger problems. Group harmony was always maintained at the highest levels. Something as simple as having Egyptian money to pay for use of toilets goes to show his attention to detail on all matters concerning the group. I have traveled many times with Gate 1 and Mohammed ranks as one of the best. He is a great ambassador for country, and a great asset to the gate 1 family.

Abdou was beyond excellent. From the moment our journey began, his knowledge, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm for Morocco elevated the entire experience. He was incredibly helpful and informative, but what truly set him apart was the way he connected with every guest. His humor, kindness, and thoughtful attention made each day feel personal rather than scripted. We especially appreciated how he shared his own life story alongside the history and culture of his country. That perspective brought Morocco to life in a way that guidebooks simply can't. It was clear how much pride he takes in his work and in his homeland, and it was a joy to witness. We love traveling with Gate1: the tours, the organization, and the hotels are consistently excellent. But what makes these trips exceed expectations is the guides, and Abdou is a perfect example of that. He didn't just lead a tour; he created an experience we will remember for years.

Our trip to Morocco was incredible! This was my 48th trip with Gate 1 and it definitely ranks in the top 5. Abdoul, our tour guide, was so kind, informative and never once became at all irritated with us. I continue to sing Gate 1's praises to every traveler I know. Now, several of my friends use Gate 1 exclusively. The friend who joined me on this trip always uses OAT (Overseas Adventure Travel) and I just heard her telling someone that they will be using Gate 1 from here on out. Keep doing what you're doing, because it's working!

Our trip was fantastic! Gate 1 did an amazing job. There is no way we would have been able to see what we did in Morocco on our own. From the hotels to the transportation, to the included food and city tours, it was perfect. The best part? Our tour guide, Hisham, was outstanding! Hisham organized everything and ensured we were on time with no hiccups. He provided interesting information throughout the trip and to a person in the group, we were absolutely touched by the degree of effort he put in. I would highly recommend Gate 1 in the future!

I would like to say that our tour manager in Morocco, Hicham, did a fantastic job throughout the tour. He is very knowledgeable and has great organizational skills. Hicham is an excellent teacher and gave us a much deeper understanding of Morocco, its people and culture than we ever could have learned if traveling on our own. I believe everyone in our tour group had the same opinion. Gate 1 did a superb job in hiring Hicham as a tour manager.

My trip was great. Our tour director was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions asked. Egypt has a long and complicated history and having somebody able to share the big picture in addition to detail is unusual and made the trip special. Mohammed also shared his love of Egypt. I was the only solo traveler, and it was my first solo trip. Mohammed went out of his way to insure I felt comfortable and as a result I became an integral part of the group never feeling uncomfortable.

Morocco was just wonderful! The hotels were fabulous and all the tours were fantastic!! I loved Ali! He was so knowledgeable and kind and took such good care of us. He truly made me feel like family and so welcome in his country. Thank you Gate 1 for another amazing trip!!!

A huge part of what made this trip so memorable was our amazing Tour Manager, Hussein. He truly went above and beyond! Despite his young age, he was exceptionally knowledgeable about everything Jordan has to offer, and his patience and genuine care for every single person in our group were just outstanding. He really made everyone feel comfortable and ensured we all had the best experience possible.

Excellent trip to Tunisia. Our tour manager, Ridha, was outstanding: always concerned, careful and never at a loss for articulate descriptions of each site along with its place in history. This was our fifth Gate 1 tour. While all were enjoyable, Ridha stands out as the most professional representative of your organization. Faced with the sudden, last-minute cancellation of our early AM flight to Djerba, Ridha promptly took our group to a food concession in the airport and treated us to a meal while he organized a bus and driver to get us to our destination - all with aplomb! We considered Tunisia well worth the visit; unfortunately, it has not had enough press to catch the attention it deserves.

It was sooo good! Gate 1 was incredible and out tour guide, Mohammed, was one of the best i have ever had and ive been on a lot of tours. I cant recommend him enough.

It was fabulous. Othman was a perfect tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding, a great problem solver (because there were a few bumps on our tour) and warm and charming. Our bus driver, Lorri, also was unbelievable in being such an excellent driver. The included meals were always good and so many different experiences. All our tours and expeditions were educational, informative, and enjoyable. I loved the whole experience and bought a lot to help the local people.

I'd like to thank Omar - our tour guide - he was absolutely excellent! I really enjoyed our trip and seeing Jordan through Omar's eyes and his stories!! This was our very first trip with Gate 1, and to put it simply, we were extremely satisfied. Everything was impeccably organized: the bus was always waiting for us on time, hotel check-ins were quick and seamless, lunches were prepared and relaxing, and all sightseeing entrances were arranged in advance. Our tour manager, Attia, was outstanding. He was consistently punctual, provided clear explanations of each day's activities, and offered genuinely helpful suggestions and recommendations throughout the trip. We also want to highlight the terrific local guides-Attia in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and Massoud in Oman. What stood out most for me personally was hearing about their real-life experiences and family stories. It added depth and authenticity far beyond the typical information you can find online.

It was super. Great guide. Moha really knew his stuff. He was top notch. All the guides were great along the way. Enjoyed the camp Sahara tent experience and the camel ride. The optional hot air balloon was exceptional. When we left the hotel on the last day to the airport with gate 1 shuttle, a gate 1 rep met us there and took us right to the airline counter. This was so good. I never had this experience. Wow!

What a treasure Tunisia is! Every day was a learning adventure, and each day was better than the day before. When I go on vacation, my goal is to learn, and this trip deserves 10+ stars for that. We especially loved seeing the UNESCO World Heritage sites, the museums, the troglodyte house and lunch with the local family. Our guide, Nabil, was excellent. His knowledge, humor, and patience made this trip a real standout.

The Tunisia Discovery tour was fantastic. It offered a wonderful blend of culture, outdoor adventure, and culinary experiences. Just to say that our recent small group tour to Morocco was truly a trip to remember. Our tour manager, Ramy, led us on the best tour we have ever had! His obvious love of people and passion for travel was contagious and created an instant camaraderie among our group. He greeted us individually each morning with smiles and everyone was excited about starting the new day's adventure. We never wasted time in long lines because he knew how to circumvent them. He always watched out for our safety and warned us where to watch our step. Questions were answered immediately, problems were solved effortlessly and he always acted like it was entirely his pleasure to help us out. My husband lost his hat and mentioned it. Ramy bought him a new hat that very afternoon so the glare outside the next day wouldn't detract from his enjoyment of the sights. Wherever we went, camel markets, date markets, marinas, luxury hotels; everyone knows and loves Ramy and greets him with smiles and hugs. It was fun being associated with such a popular tour manager.
